Good Morning :)

The snow is still coming down here :sad2:. Not sure how much we're supposed to get but we ended up with a couple inches over night and it's still coming down :rolleyes1. DH and DS are getting their snowmobiles ready to go ride some roads before the snow plows come through .

Chan.......Sounds like the party went well and the girls had fun :thumbsup2. Glad the cake was good :goodvibes.

Maxie.....Keep that spring countdown going because with weather like we're having today spring can't get here fast enough :yay:.

Siobhan.....I was up too early today too :headache:. A foot of snow :scared1:.......that's crazy . We haven't gotten as much as they've predicted here :rolleyes1.....so hopefully you gals out there won't see that much snow :scared:.

I hope everyone enjoys their weekend :flower3:.

Deb ;)

Good Morning!!! Well today I could have slept but I was up at 7??? :confused3 Grrrr!!! Another Grrr is that we were only suppose to get a few inches tonight into tomorrow but now we are getting close to a foot! :headache: It always makes me cringe when more than one weather person says. "And you all in the Northern Essex county (that's me and Kel) are going to get slammed!" Great...thanks!

Chan this one is for Lucy..I know she likes the designs...It was in a AK bathroom...Can you imagine the other people in the bathroom going why does this crazy lady taking pictures in the bathroom! :rotfl:

100_0953.jpg

If you think you are a crazy for taking bathroom pictures check this out.www.cassworld.ca/photosbathrooms.htm

They keep changing the forcast. Yesterday we were supposed to get 5-10 inches, now they are saying it could change to rain for awhile on the cape and south shore and keep the totals down to 3-6. We shall see. I am sick of winter.:headache:
Checked my e-mail, still not codes.:sad2:
The laundry is started now I am off to Target. TTYL

good morning cheeseballs

I am up and have gone to Shaws and run my errands for the day! The kids are up and dressed and are eating breakfast. We are on our way to Saugust at 10am to visit Chris aunts and then to Malden to see my Dad and have lunch.

Then I am not going anywhere tomorrow because of the snow!!!!!

Maxie......Hopefully some pixie dust will fall on all of us for a code pixiedust:. How bizarre that someone would take pics of all the theme park bathrooms :rolleyes1. Today is :laundy: day for me too . But I guess that's just as well because with this crappy weather we're having I really don't want to venture out anywhere :upsidedow. It's a good day to stay in and get things done around here......especially since I only did 2 loads of laundry yesterday and NO ironing . :rotfl:

Deb :flower3:

Good Morning All! :goodvibes

I hope Chan survived the party!!! I can't believe we got more snow last night! :scared1: I am done with winter! :rotfl: If we didn't have 6 inches of it on my driveway I would drive to Chan's to try that cake!! It looked AMAZING!!

Thanks to all for the comments on the pics!!! We like to dress nicer in WDW (OK, I do, and I make them go along with it!!) DS thinks that Cinderella and Mickey require nice clothes to attend MVMCP, so he doesn't fight me on it!

Lcaemom- we were there the 5th through the 14. We flew in late on the 5th and stayed at Pop and then went to the GF for the rest. :cloud9: The June trip is just DS and I "POP-ing It" ;) courtesy of the 4/3 deal and December is all 3 of us back at the GF (courtesy of the 40% code). But DH says we need a couple of years off after that (but we'll see :rolleyes1 )

DS wants to try out the new sled that Santa brought today (our 20+ inches in December melted right after Christmas so he never got to use it!) Thank goodness I got some snow pants this year!

Enjoy your day ladies! (and Marvel! Waiting for his pics too! popcorn:: )

Kristin

Good morning everyone! Drive by post like Kristin! (BTW: I ALWAYS read that as posting while driving for some reason!)

Kristin: Cut pictures! Your son is adorable!

Channing: I hope you survived the night! The cake was beautiful though, and Jojo looked so cute in her PJs

Deb: I want a code too! That would seal the deal for going back this year, LOL

Maxie and Dawn: Glad you are feeling better!

Sibohan: I got tea all over my laptop! ROTFL! Nice pictures!

I'm sure there was more....

More papers to do, have to pick up my dress and my gifts for my mom & dad, my sister's dress and I don't know what else...Too much! I need to get started earlier, like Kelly!

Have a great day everyone!

Morning!!

The girls were up all night. I was seriously waiting for Z and his friend to tell them to pipe down. I kept waking to sounds of THUD THUD THUD running thru the house...up and down the stairs.....At 2 they woke me up because they were scared of some man they saw at school that didn't look like a dad.:rotfl2: WHY WHY WHY they were thinking of this guy at 2 am I don't know but they were freaked out. SO....I gave them the story about how the house is FULL of people and a huge dog, we live in the country, the "alarm" would go off...it's a blizzard outside & peeps would get stuck in our driveway if they tried any funny business...nobody is going to be out looking to give them trouble.....and they said OK...THEN 2:30 Jo and her little friend came back and said somebody is crying.....well they had moved from the family room up to Jo's room and were all huddled together in their sleeping bags....luckily nobody was crying...they kinda were scared but they were starting to scare ME. I thought I'd not get a wink of sleep. I NEED MY SLEEP. Gave the the story again & they apologized & then I went to sleep. They didn't.

I have til 11. Then my sentence is up.:cool1:

Siobhan
I LOVE that crazy floor tile!! Lucy will laugh!!!! Do you have any with turtles or elephants!?!?!?! :rotfl: :rotfl: THAT IS AMAZING you remembered to take that pic!!! WE are going to have to take a lot of weird ones!!! Maybe we have to take pics of the foyer of our 2 bedroom suite to remember it by!!:rotfl:

Have a fun day Kelly!

Kristin.
...this cake is sooo cute. The yellow ribbon is sugarly something...it's not like a communion wafer - which is what I expected...:rotfl: It's all sugary sweet. Next time we meet at Around the Clock for bfast...we need to ask to see their cake book so you can get ideas for youself. :thumbsup2 And the stuff on the outside is yummy too..not the icky crisco stuff. They use cornsyrup and the girls said it tasted like marshmallows so maybe similar to your recipe. And I am brain dead tired and cannot even think of what it's called.:rolleyes1

Hi to all!! I had to fight for my internet this morning. Then I finally discovered my "wireless" was turned off on my laptop. Whew!

Chan

Where were you at the GF? We flew in on the 6th and tx'd to the GF on the 7th. Loved it!!! When in December, are you going back this year?

We were in one of the turret rooms in Conch Key. I just posted pics yesterday of it on the FAQ thread. The room was AMAZING!!! We could see Space Mountain, but not the castle. But it didn't matter, we are rarely at the hotel to see fireworks anyway. The extra space in the room far outweighed any other benefits!!!

This year we are going 11/28-12/6. We are paying rack rate for 11/28 and the rest with the code. 11/28 will be my 35th bday :faint: so I want to go then so DS can have my birthday gift card to spend. Plus, I am hopeful that airfare will be a little cheaper on a Saturday vs. Sun 11/29 (Sunday after Thanksgiving, aka busiest travel day of the year)

GF was just amazing...overall!!! Looking forward to chatting to see how many times we may have passed each other that week. I'll look up your photos...I have a TR started...it's been about a week since, I started and I'm just now getting to our arriving at the GF.
I was tossing those dates around, too...that's a big MAYBE! If I was to get a 40% off code, that might make the decision a little easier. School has become the big issue, with my girls but, that week at least they wouldn't miss school and bball. A friend of mine went this past year, during that week. She flew on the Friday after Thanksgiving and came home the following Thursday...her airfare wasn't outrageous. Looking forward to hearing about your past trip and your next ones.

OK...second load of laundry is in...I guess the washing machine really did need some rest. Now, I'm working on the dishwasher...think I have that figured out, too. I should know in about an hour once the cycle finishes. Crossing my fingers!!!

I just remembered what I was trying to remember. Have any of you ever ordered anything from LaughingPlace.com? And...do any of you have the book...the title is something like "Disney Then and Now." Also, do any you have any of the DVDs...the 9 DVD set or the 2007 or 2008 holiday DVDs? I was thinking about ordering some of them...never bought anything through that site before. The books and the DVDs look great...can't remember seeing them at the parks.

I was in the middle of posting and my post disappeared.:confused3 I am back from Target. Spent a lot of money stocking up on cleaning supplies. I think my cleaning lady was cheaper.:lmao: Those convience cleaning thingys get expensive.:lmao:

Kristin: I love the lodge tower rooms. We had them twice in SL, but I have never been able to book one. They were never available when I have booked, they go fast. I don't pay extra for a view, but I would for the extra room.:thumbsup2

Lcaemom.......I've never bought anything from laughingplace.com but I have looked around the site before and one thing I noticed is that they are quite a bit more expensive for things than Disney themselves :confused3. I buy a WDW calendar every year for $12-$13 and this online place wants $22 for the exact same thing :rolleyes1. Some other things I've looked at are higher priced than what you can buy them at Disney for .....not that I know that from shopping alot at WDW or anything :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:.

Maxie......I know what you mean.......those cleaning supplies can be a killer to buy :headache:. I always try to stock up on everything when I go to Target but it seems like I no sooner do that and I turn around and I'm almost out of everything I THOUGHT I had a decent supply of :rotfl2:. Plus it doesn't help that it's too easy to go into Target for just a few things and walk out of there spending over $100 :scared:.

Deb :)

I fixed it!!! The dishwasher and washing machine are both working!!! Whew! Now, I'm off to Target...for some cleaning supplies, too.

I had thought that, actually. The train that we just came home with was $60 at WDW and I saw if for ?106 on that website. I had not however, seen the books or the DVDs while we were there. They look great but, I'll see if I can find them for less somewhere else. Thanks!

Hi Gals..

Been sick for the last few days and its seems that there is alot to catch up on!! On Thrusday after dinner I felt a little queasy...But by bed time!!!
Full fledged vomitting going on...

Warning...details ahead:rotfl: Not just a little vomitting I mean almost like projectile...and even after my stomach was empty I just kept on going!!!:headache: It was awful....Havent been able to keep a thing down since Thrusday...it came on so suddenly...and lasted much longer than any other stomach virus I have ever had!!! The spasms have finally stopped...but I feel awful and shaky...

But I still managed to get to my computer today:) ...dont think I'll be staying out of bed too long though...I still dont feel right....

One good thing..I did manage to weigh myself before....and I was dieting all week but usually I'll lose 2 lbs...well I lost 5!!! Too bad it'll probably come right back once I'm hydrated...

Well I'm going to try and catch up...

Hope everyone has a nice day... TTYL:flower3:

Blue- sorry you have been so sick. I had the same thing in early December and had to go to the ER for IV fluids. AWFUL!!! I am glad you're feeling a little better today. (And any weight loss- even from the ful, is a good thing :) ) In case you missed the post while you were gone, Kel (Alicnwondrln) is having anyone interested in the Boston Meet PM her your e-mail. So when the planning gets started we have a contact...include your phone number if that is easier. (PM- not posted here for all the DIS to see) I know you were interested, and with the flu you might have missed that. :)

Chan- Party sounds like it was fun, NOT! :grouphug: Maybe they are all gone home now and you can take a nap? Did they have fun though? Even with the weirdness- that is all that really matters. Glad the cake tasted as good as it looked.

Lcae- Glad the washers are working again. I had both die last year within 2 months of each other. My husband still doesn't know that the dishwasher leaked through the laundryroom cieling. I replaced the tiles before he could see the mess I made (yes, it was MY fault. I'm not mechanical, but tried to do a little plumbing...BAD IDEA

Mandy- Sorry dd is sick. No fun at all.

AMy- I am so excited for you! It is coming on so fast. I agree with Kristin- I think HERE COMES THE BRIDE too, every time you post!

Kel- Busy bee as ever. Have you started packing yet? LOL You know I will start next week...I am the worlds slowest packer! (it is the hunting for all the stuff I hid that takes me so long!)

Ok- went grocery shopping, laundry is running and I am being lazy...guess I should go do something. :) OMG!!!! Under 4 weeks!!!!!! I am so excited!!!!

Wow all you gusy and your cleaning!!!! My house was SO CLEAN yesterday it was AMAZING!!! Today...I am looking at a wreck.:rotfl:

Blue...sorry you were sick. That is the WORST...I hope you feel better fast.

Hey Shel....actually the girls are all super sweet, nice to each other and very polite with me. THey are a GREAT GROUP of kids. It's just that they were excited and wound up kwim? I really enjoy having a house full of kids for the most part and most every weekend we do but there is just something funky about a bday party that sends them over the edge!:rotfl2: It is kinda weird that way.....but they are super nice girls and all looked out for each other and are kind so I can't really complain....it's over. :thumbsup2 That's all that matters now!:rotfl: :thumbsup2

OK...I just wanted to check in:upsidedow & say HI...i have errands to run and a mega messy kitchen to clean. I made them a whole platter of French Toast and was putting it all out with sausage and scrambled eggs and realized what I forgot to buy at the store.....syrup. :headache: OMG...Jojo had choc chip waffles all week and used it all up.:guilty: They were sweeties and said THAT's OK...and had it with powdered sugar.:goodvibes

TTYL happy SNOWY Saturday!
Chan:)

Deb: IKWYM, I rarely get out of Target for less than $100.

BlueSkies: Sorry you have been sick. Feel better soon.:flower3:

Lcaemom: WTG on fixing the washer and dishwasher.:worship: I wouldn't even know where to begin.

I decided to postpone Target. DH just took the girls to see Bedtime Stories. I got really mad at him for leaving me home this morning to fix the washers, while he went out to get coffee...he claims he didn't know there was anything wrong with them!!! :scared1: Must be nice to live in a world with selective hearing and vision:confused3 The one time I let my DH make a decision on a new appliance, we ended up putting a perfectly fine dishwasher out on the curb. He got it out to the curb...tried to hook up the new one...couldn't get it running...called my dad...my dad, said "no wonder it's not running, the switch is off." They flipped the switch, it started and then my DH says "I wonder if that is what the problem is with the old one?!?" Of course, by then it was gone!!! Anyways...the house is now empty!!!:woohoo: So, I'm not going anywhere...at least for the next few hours...I just hope the movie theatre doens't sell out of tickets.
Time to make an ice coffee and a snack and sit...HERE!!!:surfweb:

Shell You can replace tile?!? Wow...now that is amazing!!! That must have put a small wrench in your daily life...can't live without washers!!! If you're anything like me...it can take days to finally admit that there is no hope and end up replacing it. I will try all kinds of things before I give in and buy a new one...and by then everything has backed up!!!

Blueskies I'm so sorry you were so sick...that sounds awful! I hope you can get something down...sounds like you are very dehydrated and have low blood sugar, if you are shaky. Sounds like you may need some IV fluids, already. Keep us posted...I hope it's over.
