Mare I am a little confused now with the ADRs etc is everything 90 days out for booking...cabanas used to be 30 days... I think as soon as I figure out my list (waiting for park hours to come out) I'm just going to send it to IPO...

We havent eaten at WCC in a while...Denise gave it a good review...maybe I'll add that on to the list...soon I'll have more places to eat than nights to stay...

We had a fun time at WCC too! I read Denise liked it. Jojo was a grump the night we went and the waiter played up to it. She has ATTITUDE and he could read that...so he had some fun with her & he got her laughing and embarrassed...and it was a riot....We had the BEST time at WCC....that and Kona dinner were our best meals in July. I would recommend it - it's fun...but like anything you never know! The reviews seem so mixed on most WDW restaurants.

Can I join you? I just read through all ?9 pages of this thread...finally found some chatting. I feel like I'm on these boards all day and there seems to be very little chatting on most of the threads. GF is what got my attention...love the GF, all things Disney and these boards. Just came back from the GF 12/14 and having serious withdrawls. We may need to go again, sooner than planned. The current plan is 2010 but, I don't know if I can wait that long and it won't be to the GF.
Looking forward to chatting more...I can't chat right this minute, as I am in the middle of burning my chicken burritos from spending all this time reading the posts on this thread but, yet so happy to have found it.

Mare - Thanks for all the info. I found out about the 90 days when I called recently. Are ADRs 90 + 10? Can I call 100 days out? I am definitely going to drive everyone crazy as it closer for the Cabanas, I am calling everyday!! lol lol lol

Blueskies & Annette: Yes, from what I was told EVERYTHING is to be booked at 90 days. Actually Annette, you have it backwards For WDW Resort guests, you can book 90 + 10, which means on the 90 day you can book ADRs for the following 9 days (10 days total). Some CMs ask for your confirmation number when doing this, so just have it handy.

I say WDW Resort Guests, because people staying at the Swan/Dolphin are fuming over this! They have to call at 90 days then call back every morning for the remaining days.

What I'm wondering is if this will now apply to the cabanas? Annette gets one everyday (her daughter needs one, long story). Should the 90+10 apply then you can book the whole week's cabana on day 90 and not have to call every morning at 7am like you did last summer. I'm going to call and find out, I'm just curious.... I'm only getting the cabana for one day, but I'd still like to know the policy.

Oh, the restaurants are so inconsistent lately! It's really just a crap shoot. I agree, I have more restaurants that I want to dine at then I have nights for dinner! I saw that Denise liked WCC, I'm happy the food was good and so were the antics. Now I just don't have a night for it. I got CRT for my birthday, which originally we were going to 1900 Park Fare. The night I was debating over WCC or Ohana, I put 1900 Park Fare. We've been to WCC and Ohana before, I'd really like to try 1900 Park Fare. Plus DS4 wants to see the Prince I always call him my little Prince and WDW is full of Princesses, so we have to see the Prince. He thought the Prince would be at the castle for bkfst and he wasn't there. So, I don't have a night for WCC. Maybe I need to plan another trip

Chan: Our Salvation Army charges us for pick-ups in NYC. I drag my stuff to the Walmart in PA, they have several large drop off boxes in the parking lot. Baby stuff I donate to Baby Buggy, Jessica Seinfeld's organization. She gives the items to moms in need. It's a great charity and she actually does things for it, she just doesn't sit on the board (like some of the celebrities do).

So I'm making the risotto tomorrow, I hope it comes out good. DH asked me this evening what tomorrow night's menu was. Right now it's Filet Mignon and Risotto - need to pick up a dessert. He's looking forward to it, so it better come out good Wow, it calls for a lot of beef stock! I'm going to have to run to the supermarket in the morning for stuff.

Hey, we were just watching Alice in Wonderland (I DVRed it, it was on Disney Channel today) and I just realized that the Mad Hatter is Uncle Albert from Mary Poppins!! The boys liked it. I like for them to watch the classics at least once so when we're in WDW they know who the characters are. They've met Alice but didn't know her story.

Hello to everyone and thank you for a warm welcome. I just came back to take a charting break...I'm a nurse...just finishing up with work today...half way through. So, excited to find a lively bunch...I keep refreshing my subscribed links page and there hasn't been much activity lately. I started wondering if that should be telling me something...like maybe I was really the only one here!!! Glad to see that I'm not alone...not even in the middle of the night. I was so excited, I told my DDs about this thread, over our burritos, which surprizingly were not burned...even though I let them overcook for 30 minutes while I got caught up with this thread. The girls completely understand how excited I am, as we ended up sitting next to another board member on our flight home. We coincidently started talking to the "stranger" next to us...and she turned out to be someone I have been "chatting" with for almost a year. My girls thought her boys were adorable and found it amazing that we all ended up meeting by such coincidence. I also threatened them with a mommy only trip, as I see that some of you have girls only trips planned...ahhhh, that sounds heavenly!!! Well, off to finish charting...be back later

Chan......I was fine once I got on 53...thanks . I forgot how CRAZY the tollway gets and you get run over if you're not doing 80+ mph . I was used to it years ago when DH lived up that way......but it's been awhile . Those peeps are just plain crazy how they drive . But I did make good time.......I just had to pick up a pizza on my way home and stop at the store before I finally got home . It is gonna be awful for me next week too . I was up this morning at my normal time of 5:15 to get DH off to work but it was hard for me to actually get moving and out of here by 7:30 . It's been a low key night here as well and DH is off tomorrow and Thursday so it will be nice to just vegg out and not do a whole lot .


Mare......Glad you had a nice time at the country house . I haven't read those not-so-good reviews on WCC . We haven't been there for a few years and wanted to give it a try again as it was always good the last few times we did go .....although things can and do change so I hope we're not disappointed . I can't believe I hurried up and made my list of ADRs so I was ready to call on 12/21 (or shortly after) only to find out they changed it back to 90 days . But it's ok......I can tweak them to make sure I have exactly what I want .

Lcaemom We are a very chatty group. It's just a slow time for us. With the holiday tomorrow, some are not around. A bunch of gals met up for breakfast and chatted for almost 4 hours in person - which they normally do daily here

Just wait until Monday when all the kids and DHs are our of the house, we'll be up to 50 pages by then!

Deb: I know!!! I rushed and got my ADR list ready and now nothing! I did get CRT for dinner and CM for both breakfast and dinner (it's the boys favorite, we'll just deal with blech dinner) I already had to change CM breakfast twice! I hate changing ADRs, for some strange reason every ADR you make remains on your list. Even when you cancel them, they still stay there. So when you call and want to confirm your ADRs it takes the CMs forever to go through the list because they're not in date order and the canceled ones are in with the existing ones. So I already have 2 canceled ones on my list!!! It's just a crappy system. I hope that changes with the updated system.

I'm now dreading the park hours being released. I have our whole week planned and I know I'm going to change everything around once I know the extra magic hours.
