Ahhhh a nice long weekend! That will be good! Hope I can sleep in for one of the days?

I wonder how cold it is out? Must be pretty bad...My heat keeps coming on every 2 seconds!

I will let you all know how today goes with Kel! The amateur and the professional??? Boy do I love makeup and shopping!

Morning Gals


I'm up early for a Saturday as DH and DS were up getting ready to go snowmobiling and I kept hearing them clanking around in the kitchen and couldn't sleep . I thought I'd get started early so I made a pot of coffee (gotta have my coffee in the morning ), put in a load of and unloaded the dishwasher.....so today is off to a good start .


Siobhan & Kel......Have fun today . You better bundle up because the negative windchill temps we just got rid of are out your way now . We had those temps for a few days with the kids being out of school Thursday and Friday due to the cold .

morning! I have a quiet day!! My family went to the Museum of Science and Industry without me! YAY!!!!!! I always go....but I am sick of that place. DH and Jojo the science girl love it. Personally I hate it. The only good thing is that is where I saw the Louis and Clark movie that made me say I GOTTA GET ME ONE OF THEM DOGS...and I wound up with Tatum.

I have to catch up on housework. I have no laundry baskets free.....my kids have so much laundry that they haven't put away in their rooms...today i am dumping it and using my baskets.

The kids have been off and lazy and driving me nuts. This is great they are gone.

I passed out last night so early! I think the cold does drain ya.

I am watching The Brady Bunch and eating bfast and typing to you guys and I don't hear Spongebob in the background....ah...peace.

Have fun at the mall, gals!!!

Where is everyone??? We had a great morning! Kelly looked great! I am sure she must feel like she has a pound of make up on but she looks great! She spent a ton and I got 3 eye shadows and a lip gloss! We went to BE and they have a ton of eye shadows! I walked in and said Oh my!!!! I narrowed it down to 3 and I like my choices...One is fittingly called tiara!

Well we are going to the base! I havent been in soooo long! Their sales must have dropped!

Hello, We just got back last night from the GF. We stayed in RPC in a beautiful castle view room. 4405. We ( my mom, sister and me) usually go to disney two to three times a year either staying at Poly club level or GF club level. This was our second time staying RPC and loved it. My sister is a special needs adult and going to Disney is something that brings her such happiness. It was great watching the fireworks every night in our room. I think the fireworks are better at the GF that at the Poly. Mousekeeping was great. They left tons of lotions & shampoos every day. It was great being on the same floor as the lounge. The gray meat on a stick is still there. I noticed they had the same offerings every night. I do wish they would switch it up a little. We ate at the GF Cafe one of our favorites. Love their blue glow tinis there. After a few of those it is nice to take the elevator back up to your room. I had arranged to have three mini castle cakes waiting in our room to surprise my mom & sister. They looked & tasted amazing. The parks were a little more crowded that we expected. Lot's of tour groups carrying their flags. We left the parks around 2:00 every day to relax at the hotel & get ready for dinner. The GF is as beautiful as ever. I'm very jealous of you gals leaving in Feb to go. We will be in Disney in May but at the Poly. Going with my BFF her family & mine. Unfortunately they only want to stay at the Poly. We will be bak at RPC end of Sept beginning of Oct. Can't wait.

I am loving being home alone...I have my Red HOt Chili Peppers BLARING thru the house!!! Jojo hates the loud tunes when she's home....so I am polite...but when she's gone...Mama parties!

It has been quiet here today! What gives?

Kelly and Siobhan...sounds like a fun time! I am coming next time to the mall. I want some tiara eye shadow too!! Is that Bare Minerals??

Chrishart - what a nice review! I love that place. I think everything is better at the GF then the....*cough* Poly. I hate the Poly. I know it has it's fans...but I am not one. OH ..the GF REALLY needs to change that icky food. Maybe that is something the Poly does have over the GF. Sad to say it. That gray meat is so yesterday...and it has to go!! YUCKO. You'll have fun at the Poly with your friends though. OUr best trips were taken with friends.

Oh yah..who's excited about Feb?!?!?!?! Almost down to two weeks!

Hey ladies

I had to go back to Party City to buy larger loot bags for the pinata loot. I put so much stuff in there! I didn't want to use the pinata filler (choking hazzard-hard candies!) so I bought mini bags of cookies, teddy grahams, fruit snacks, raisins, chocolate bars, m&ms, pencils, puzzles, airplane gliders, whistles, and some other stuff. This thing is going to burst open!

Oh Chan: they only sold the Pinatas with pull strings. Which I like for the little kids, they all open it together.

Kristen: I'm all for the fridge. Especially in June. I shipped a case of water to the resort and we drank it all in 8 days. I'd spend the $75 on it.

Don't have time to chat. DH and DS4 went to the Motorcycle Show at the Javitz Center so I'm here with DS1. He's being good and watching TV and playing with his trains. I've got sauce cooking on the stove and I'm about to fry up some cutlets for chicken parm.

I'll be off and on......

Hey Chan....YES.....I actually did get alot done today and it's a good thing because I've been slacking the last couple of days doing NOTHING . I'm about done with all my laundry and I even did the ironing . I cleaned yesterday so that was something I didn't have to do today . I LOVE those flip flops.....they are soooo cute .....you DO need to buy them .

I was jamming today too.......only to Metallica . That is DS15's favorite band and I have to say I do like them myself . There are a few songs I can do without.....but for the most part I like pretty much everything of theirs . I got DH a Bose Sound Dock for Christmas and we have that in the kitchen so I took DS's iPod and stuck in there and turned up the volume . Now I think I need some Advil .


Feb Gals.........Time is winding down........it won't be long now .


Hi, Mare ....Chicken parm....that sounds yummy . Sounds like you got some good stuff for the pinata.....I'm sure the kids will love it .

Hi Deb DH told me not to cheap out on the stuff! So I put nicer things in there. I don't have to buy a favor as whatever they make at the craft shop is their favor. But I know 5 year olds and they want stuff to play and eat so I hooked them up

Mare......I remember having the fun birthday parties when my two were little....and I ALWAYS went overboard buying all the good stuff . Those parties were a killer on the bank account . But they were fun and the kids always had a blast . When is the party??? I bet DS is getting excited . I've never made chicken parm......wanna share your recipe ? DS13 loves Italian and the only time he gets chicken parm is when we go out . All this talk about food is making me hungry for Italian......Maggiano's is starting to sound REALLY good about now .

OMG Siobhan that is great....I have a Metallica jammin' buddy . I thought you gals would think I was CRAZY if I mentioned that I love Metallica and that I listen to them ALL THE TIME as they aren't the most quiet group . But boy can they jam . DS has EVERY ONE of their cds. I don't know how he came to pick that as his favorite band but he knows everything there is to know about them . Any time he can't find one of his cds he knows he can go out to my truck and find it in there because I'm always stealing them . There are a few other cds of his I take but Metallica is my fav .......glad to know I now have a buddy in that department....Siobhan me and you would get along just great .


Chan.....You go buy those flip flops lady . They are totally adorable and they do go right along with you gals and your trip...........CELEBRATE is right . Robert Plant sure goes back in time doesn't he . Oh my, I'm getting old .


All you gals are making some delicious things for dinner . We're going to be heading out for church soon and not doing dinner until we get back.....so who knows what we'll be having .
