Vanessa.....Glad everything is working out for your Christmas trip . Sounds like your inlaws will have quite an adventure getting to Orlando . My sister and BIL love road trips....they drive EVERYWHERE.....so they would totally get into something like that . But NOT ME......NO WAY NO HOW.....get me on a plane or I don't go . I hope they have an enjoyable time.....that's a LONG way to drive ....not to mention the inlaws not liking each other .


Dawn......Aren't the little people a hoot???? I worked in Chicago with 2 high school friends and when the one got married she had the little people at her reception. After seeing them there I said I HAD to have them at mine.....so we did . We got married in 1992. People STILL talk about that from our wedding 16 years later . I like unique things and figured most people around here weren't familiar with them....plus we had a horse drawn carriage that took us from the church to the reception hall instead of a limo.....so that day was pretty different......oh what memories . WTG on the savings at Dicks Sporting Goods....it never hurts to ask .

MOrning! LOL....Colin was just standing here telling me stuff and I was reading this so I have NO idea what the heck he said.....

Vanessa, whew...it's over. I always love that IT"S OVER feeling. That is a riot about the RV!! YAH it sure is a good thing you have flight booked...or you'd be hitting the highway with them.

Dawn and Deb....OK...good on the Fancy Nancy. She is a VERY PRETTY doll....I actually bought her in July for Lucy's bday....and then changed my mind and returned her. NOW it's impossible to find that particular doll anywhere except on Ebay for almost 2X the original store cost. And then of course she asks for her for Xmas. Now I have to go on a quest for the outfits....the outfits are DARLING. And...PS...who the heck are these "Little People"? Never heard of them! What am I missing?!?!?

Siobhan, have a good FAST day at work!! I can't believe 10 days left!!! Whoohooo Did you get your Xmas decs up?!?!?

AND!! Wow this morning was drama filled. I got the SWA $68 fare!!!! I tried to use the CHANGE AIR...and it wouldn't work!!! I kept getting error messages...so I did the dual window CANCEL FLIGHT and then....because I was on autopilot mode I put in my CC info and FORGOT TO HIT "Apply Travel Funds"~!!! So!!! Dummy me got charged on my Visa for my new flight with a $130 credit sitting in my account!!!!! OMG.....So I called SWA thinking I was SOL but they were so AWESOME and waited for me to rebook the flight with my credit and then refunded my Visa. THey ROCK. AND then Lucy's bus didn't come!!! So at 625 I called....she had somehow gotten taken off the route!!!!! They nicely came back to get her...Thank GOD.

Alls well that ends well!!!

Chan......WTG on the flight . The Little People are actually small people who dress up and do a little show. In my case they dressed up as a bride and groom.....they had me and DH sit in the center of the reception hall and they played a few songs and did 3 or 4 dances and interacted with the guests.....it was so cute . I guess they do weddings, anniversaries, any kind of parties . When I saw them I just knew I had to schedule them!!! Of course 16 years ago there was no such thing as digital cameras ......is there any way for me to scan a pic I have of them and post it ? Where's DS when I need him . If that can be done I'll post a pic for ya to see them .

I had a meeting this morning with a few people, one of which had just started to get sick Sunday. As soon as the meeting was over, I hopped in my car and bought some Airborne at a drug store down the street. The lady was very nice and didn't sit directly infront of me, but I still felt germy and had to wash my hands really good.

My DH just emailed me and asked where were we eating at next week. He is finally getting excited and wanted to "talk Disney" with one of his coworkers. He did tell me that if I introduce him as my DH to anyone, he will rent a car and drive home. I thought that was the funniest thing. Apparently he has been looking at the Disboards. - Lisa

Lisa.......I cracked up when I read your post because when I got home from shopping on Friday my DH said to me "And by the way....I'm not "dh"....I have a name" . I looked at him funny and said "What are you talking about?" . So when I read about your hubby saying he'd rent a car and drive home if you introduced him as your DH, I laughed so hard . I guess my DH was on the disboards too .

I think i have had enough kid TV today........ I was in the shower singing the Phineas and Ferb theme song

DD's 2 and 3 are sickies and we had a veg pj day...... watched lots of Phineas and Ferb!

I am so glad I am not sick..... I am on airborne too, I swear by it! I have a lot of singing to do in the next few weeks so I can't get sick. I got hired to be a Dickinson caroler so I have lots of singing to do on top of my church production! Off to rehearse for like 3 hours!

yep...I've been watching it for a few hours now.

OMG...I just totally wigged out at LUcy because she is being annoyingly NEEDY....and didn't realize Zack had a friend over. Colin is working from home and he comes in and says..."Chan...Zack has a friend over"...Like I need to crawl under a rock.

Mandy, stay healthy.

Boy it's been quiet here today. I just did house stuff.....worked on my own thingy...and ran a couple errands. BORING. When Col works at home it gets on my nerves. Although today I am kinda glad he is home because it would take him HOURS to get home in traffic.

speaking of kid shows I am about to bang my head about the freaking wall wow wow wubzy is on as I type this.

Oh, and here is a list of things my stepmom said to me after staying at my house for 5 freaking nights.

your coffee is too strong
the guest bed is too big
your pillows are too soft (that's why your dad's neck hurts)
your sweet potatoes are a little runny (used real potatoes by the way, thanks Chan )
the kids should listen better
AND SHE LEFT THE PRICE TAGS ON EVERY SINGLE THING SHE GAVE TO US (I'm talking little surprises and such that she brought). really, who does that??
