Channing Your Basin pics are great! I could almost smell those wonderful soaps did you buy any of the fall soaps? I see JoJo made her own lip gloss...did they have any christmas soaps out...Glad the mean old Basin lady wanst there and you got to take your pics

Wow is all I can say for the cabanas!! They look even better than before...and I already thought they were great!

Looked again at your Basin pics and I see the Christmas soaps...they look great too...

LOL...she really is. Too bad she's such a rascal...although I get a kick out of her BADatude. She is soo different than I am.

Here is her "emoting" with our buddy Jose at the Brown Derby....he snuck up and ate her chocolate cake.....(what a character ) We are so weird.....

Well...first what do ya always do with a baby in a restaurant??? Let them play with the sugar packets, right?

And they always make a mess......

He wouldn't clean them up so Miss Jojo was giving him a talking to.....

Then he got fussy and wouldn't stay in his seat....he tried to escape...

Jojo was so THRILLED when her chocolate cake arrived...but Jose had ideas too...you can see he found a spoon.....

Jose got kinda sneaky.....

Before Jojo knew it....Jose had cleaned her plate....

SHE WAS MAD!!!!!!!!

OMG...we were really probably silly tired that day. Slap happy and crazy....the park was packed and we had to make our own fun.

OK....MUST go to bed!!!

Kelly I was reading one of what DH calls my lady magazines I think it was Better Homes and Gardens and they had a cheeseball recipe thought of you and your daily greeting...it looked like a good recipe too...

Hello! We leave for Orlando for Mark's Wish Trip on Satuday...just "6 more sleeps"...then 7 nights at Give Kids the World, then it's over to the GF for 3 nights, the first in a GV (still hoping for pixie dust that a room opens up, please cross fingers), the other 2 RPC!!!

We are moving out of our house at the end of the week as we are in the throes of a renovation to make the house more accessible for our son Mark. Anyone who's been thorugh a major reno can appreciate waht it's like right now. But we're lucky...we're just moving across the street for 5 months!!! Our neighbours are heading to their place in Florida for the same 5 months we have to be out of the house...what luck!

So...to get in the mood, I thought I'd pop in here this week.

Channing: I am glad you had a good trip, even with it's ups and downs. I loved your photo's with Jose - just the sort of thing I love, but my household of men would say "huh?" to. It was great!

And the pics of Basin are great - reminded me that the shopping at the GF is lovely, although the same cannot be said of our Canadian dollar right now. When we went to DL last year, we were at par, if not actually a little over $1.00 USD, which made the shopping much more appealing. But even despite the currency issue...how does anyone who lives with a household of men, young and all grown up, manage to convince them to give them time off for shopping around? I remember our first and most recent trip to WDW, I wqas literally running around the resort buying a souvenir for my mother on the last morning - and other than stuff the boys, that was the only souvenir we bought! Same thing happened at DL last year. What am I doing wrong?!?

Hope you don't mind me hanging out this week...I need to build the excitement!!!

That was great that you got to see Traci!!

I have been so sick with headache and achiness all weekend!! Actually yesterday I felt a little better and my boys wanted to go to Cabela's (yuck)!!! But instead of staying home, we went with them and my Nephew that we went to WDW with and my in-laws meet us. We got to go out to dinner after so it wasn't so bad.

The car trip was about 1 1/2 hours for us, so I had to time to pressure my DH to Please figure out when we can go to WDW. He wants to go, but he is so busy at work he doesn't know when it will be a good time. I am really putting my foot down and I want to book soon!!!! These pictures are killing me and I need a countdown calendar on my refrig!!!

It's back to business as usual....I am sitting here while Jo eats bfast and watches Handy Manny....that is all that's on.

Annette...I am sorry you aren't feeling well. Get better soon. I thought you guys were going in July? I hope you still can....or maybe it's going to be you and the kids. This was really our first vacation without DH for the whole thing. It was FUN! You have your nephew for your DS...and you and DD can have a good time. I was really scared to go alone but it was ok. Nothing major happened despite my neurotic worries.

Alison! You are always welcome here!! Of course we don't mind you hanging around. HOw exciting you leave so soon. Yes! You need some "girl" time to shop!!! I don't usually buy any souvenirs for myself...just some Basin stuff...and the girls choose something daily...they have no troubles with that. I didn't bother with anything for anybody else...they didn't come...they don't get the prize. But part of the fun is the looking thru the shops. Happy packing!

Deb! Hi!! Can you believe the "High" for today is going to be 43?!?!?!?!?! I thought...DID I HEAR THAT RIGHT??? And I did hear Jacksonville FL would hit 33! I am dreading our winter. I wish I still had my fur coat.

Morning all! I have not been on in a few days but it has been busy busy around here! I have a few projects i am working on an I have to stay away from the DIS or else I might loose my momentum! It is gonna be a super busy week..... I have a parade float to help with, a event at our church called trunk or treat on friday, school party bags to put together for DS AND I am in a little musical this weekend and I have no learned my lines

Channing! I love the pictures of baby JOSE! He is a little rascal! Seriously, I was showing Lilly and she recognized Jojo and said "That's my friend! I miss her" How cute! She also said that was a silly baby! I love 3 year olds!

We had a fun time at WDW Sat. We did MK and missed rope drop by 10 min and that was not anyones fault. We got held up on the way by a pretty bad wreck. It was rainy and the roads were so slick and there was fog. Then as we got to the gates my mom realized she did not have her pass or id. So I went went back with her and my dad to find it. It was a mess and basically took a good hour out of our morning. My dad refused to ride in his wheelchair and did really well but i was so worried about him all day.

Sadly, I did not get to meet Traci. I looked fro her and two cute kids but no luck. We had Halloween goodies bags for them but ended up eating the goodies after a few hours of not running into them! LOL! The chocolate was gonna melt, so i did not want to waste it! We headed over to EPCOT to meet up with a friend of my moms who wanted to meet us and it was a horrible crowd! F&W really smelled yummy but the lines for the booths were horrible! Not fun with two strollers!

Alrighty! I gotta run, its grocery store day and I am playing the grocery game, can't wait to see how much $ I save!!

It's tough getting back in the swing of things after a vacation . We usually try to plan our trips Fri-Fri so we get back late afternoon/early evening and still have the entire weekend to recoup . But it stinks getting the kids back to school and making sure they have everything they need after being gone a week . Have you started planning the Halloween party yet ?....Just what you need, right . But it will be fun .



I didn't bother with anything for anybody else...they didn't come...they don't get the prize.


Now there's some good thinking .

On e more ppost and then i HAVE to run! I read that Zac Effron (Troy from all teh HSM movies) is signed up to be in POTC4!

I still don't know how I feel about him since he is a pretty boy,I just dont get the pirate vibe from him , but i bet they are trying to grab a younger teen audience by adding him!
