Nobody asked, but is 165 days until spring. I start counting on the first cold day.:rotfl2: 66 days until Dec trip, unfortunately not the GF, and 213 long days until BWI and GF.
Kristin Have fun at the game. Ours doesn't start until 8:37 PM.:sad2: That is just too late when you have to get up for work the next day. I wish they would start these games at a decent hour. Traci How many days is it, I lost count.:lmao:

Your spring countdown makes me smile.

Mandy, you sound like me with the fun little outfits!!!

Okay, now go check out this thread. It's about towel animals. Be sure to get to page 2 :scared1:

cold meds...that is one thing I like about having a cold...the meds. They make me so groggy and sleepy at night. I like that :) is that bad??

Stop thinking about Lawton or you will have nightmares.

Good Morning Gals :coffee:.

Traci......that towel thread was hilarious :rotfl:. And your countdown continues......only 17 days now .

Lisa......You will LOVE Disney at Christmas time......the decorations are awesome :santa:. Being at Disney is great anytime of year, but Christmas is just amazing :wizard:. You and Kristin will be there before you know it :goodvibes. Like BlueSkies mentioned....take some warm clothes along just in case as you never know what the weather will be like in December :rolleyes1. When we were there in December 2003 we ended up buying coats and gloves and the BC pool was closed most of the week due to the cold . But being there during the holidays is worth the cold :thumbsup2.

Kristin & Dawn........Sorry about the Sox :sad2:. There's always next year :rolleyes1.

I better get going....have to get DS to school soon :teacher:. Have a good one gals :flower3:.

Deb :)

Good Morning my little GF amigas! Tuesdays are my 1st busiest day of the week (followed by Thursdays and then Wednesdays). My son has school till 12:30 (pre-K) then it's off to swim lessons and then cheer for my daughter at 4:30. I need to squeeze in the grocery store today (got any coupons for me ladies :lmao: ). But the good news is...only 17 more days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Morning! :surfweb: (I wish that cup was full of Starbucks)

Man of man does my stomach and butt hurt! I am going to die at tonights class! NO pain no gain...... !

Well DS pulled his first "fake" fever this morning, he told me his head was to hot to go to school so I pulled out the thermometer and told him he was fine! Next, his head hurt, offered him Tylenol and it was better! LOL! :rotfl:

Poor guy, he told me on the way to school he liked HS and wanted to do that instead! :guilty: I told him we were committed and we were gonna do it and then re evaluate.

I have to brag, I got the assessment back the school did on DS his first day and he scored a 32 and 29 on the two assessments they did on him. Normal is a score of 8, 12-16, is above average, and 17-20 is exceptional. The reading specialist called me to tell me she had sent home his evaluation letter and said she has never assessed a student that has scored this high. :woohoo: SOOOO now I am worried that he is gonna be board in class and get into trouble but they said they will pull him for accelerated work. I had to show my MIL this morning...... she told DH DS was behind academically and HS was not a good education :rolleyes1

Hey, Traci :wave2:. Reading your post brought back memories of when my two were little :rolleyes1. I remember the preschool days and 1/2 day kindergarten . Now they're 15 and 13.....one is 8th grade and the other is a freshman :scared1: :scared1:. Hang on to these days while you can cuz they go by so quick and when they become teens.....WATCH OUT :rotfl: :rotfl:!!! BTW.....I'll do the happy dance with you :dance3:. Even though I'm not going any time soon, I'm excited for those who are  . Are you guys going to the Halloween party?

Hi, Kelly .

Mandy.....OMG.....that's great about DS's assessment tests :cool1: :cool1:. I can tell you that from one HS mom to another.....kids learn SO MUCH when they're HS :thumbsup2. My two went back to school at 6th grade and did great on their ISTEP tests. Plus my oldest one even got put into honors math and science ;). WTG......sounds like you did an awesome job with HS :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2. And that's too funny about the fake fever....it doesn't take long for them to catch on and try everything in the book to stay home :rotfl: :rotfl:.

Hope everyone has a good day :flower3:.

Deb :)

Deb :)

It was so nice to see it in b&w that he was NOT behind like so many of our famliy and friends thought, especially some of my teacher friends~ sorry Dawn.:flower3: I honestly would have been happy with just getting a report that he was average becasue I constantly doubted if he was getting enough and worried is he was behind.

Ok I need to get going this house is messy!

Hi, all. I am behind.

Traci...that mummy was CREEPY! I gasped!!! :rotfl:

Mandy that is cool about DS & his testing.

ok..have to get dd on the bus and most likely walk.

Chan

Mandy....I felt the same way when DS#1 went back in 6th grade....especially since it was middle school . But he did great (as did DS#2)....so I guess I did something right ;). But it is a good feeling to actually see the scores in print......especially since you were the one who taught him everything he knows :thumbsup2. It definitely was a challenge for me some days, but it was also fun. Of course if I had known about the DIS back then......I'm not sure there would have been much schooling getting done :rotfl: :rotfl:.

Hey, Chan :wave2:. OMG.....you're just over a week away from leaving :cool1: :cool1:!!! Are the girls getting excited??? Have a good walk :).

Deb :flower3:

That's great about your son's test scores, Mandy. I think you have a great atittude about trying out regualr school and then evaluating to see if it works for you. You can always go back to HS if that is better! It must have made you feel great to see it spelled out in black & white!

Thanks BluesSkies and Deb for the December weather advice. I've already been looking on Disney Shopping to see what kind of sweatshirts I can find for us. My DH loves to take pictures, so I'll try to post at night if I can. We just went to DC last week for a 2 day conference I had, and he took @ 500 pictures. When we go to WDW he goes crazy, now this year with the decorations, there is no telling how many he will take.

Traci - you are so lucky, I'm excited for you.

Lisa

Lisa ~ I would LOVE to see lots of pics from your trip :). It's been 5 years since our December trip :sad2:....all the others have been in the fall :rolleyes1. We're planning to go December 2009 and I can't wait :santa:. Let your DH take lots and lots of pics so you can come back and share them all with us crazy disers :rotfl:.

Better get scootin' and get something done today . Talk to you all later :).

Deb :flower3:
