Deb I cant believe that the school would expect you to be responsible for items that were broken in the classroom that did NOT belong there I say hold DS accountable for horsing around in the classroom and for tipping over the desk...but as far as the other stuff...I agree with some of the other gals ...just dosent sound RIGHT...IMO...hope it all works out ok...Teenage boys!!!

Marvel Snow!!! You asked for it and we're ALL getting it!!! Hope you get off on your trip ok...

Channing DD and I are baking on Saturday...cant wait to taste those gingerbread cookies...

Channing I call DD last minute girl all the time...I have run out more times at the last minute because she forgets to tell me about things she needs...soon she will be driving...I'm not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing... thank goodness you didnt have to run out to the stores again!!!

I'm ready for the snow! I don't care how much we get tomorrow. I have presents to wrap, cookies to bake, I'm getting in that Christmas spirit.

Marvel: I forgot you're driving. Brave! No wonder you don't care about snow. You're outta here regardless what happens.

Hey, I just noticed today they renamed the Triboro Bridge the RFK Bridge. When did this happen???

So, I went to Costco today to get a big box of candy for the school office ladies and a popcorn tin for the Kid's DR's office. They rescheduled DS1's visit to Monday, so I thought I should bring them something so close to the holiday. Besides, the staff is wonderful! Hit Target, it was a mess! The toy depart was destroyed! I couldn't find anything. I really wanted a Little People Garage Playset for DS1 it was on sale for $20, the sales girl laughed at me when I asked if there were any left. She said they sold out very early. Oh well... He really didn't need it, I just though for $20 I'd buy it. Oh, the stocking stuffer aisle was even worst than the toy dept! Just a huge mess! Remind me next year to pick those up in October when you can actually view the shelves!

My boys have no interest in that Koda Dino. My little one wants the Thomas train table (which Santa better start assembling soon!) and DS4 wanted Wii games and an R/C car. They really didn't ask for anything else. I just ran around TRU like a nutcase buying stuff on sale

I'm going to try to clean out their "no longer played with" toys over Christmas break and try to explain to them that we're going to give them to the sick children at the Ronald McDonald house. There's one right here on the Upper East Side. I have to call them to see what they'll accept. I think it's anything but stuffed animals, I forgot.

NO we wanted to but the kids wanted to go to Epcot and we did for a few hours and then went home. I was still to freaked out and the crowds were crazy! We were planning on going Monday morn but the kids acted like WDW would be closing its doors forever when we mentioned going to a hotel to see some neat ice....... DS6 said "Ice? I wan't to ride test track not look at Ice!" We were too wiped out to explain the magnitude of the ice so off to Epcot we went.

Did you love it? We are gonna go next year!

It really was amazing. I can't believe we actually paid money to be cold. Here is a couple of pics.

Maxie.......I like the pics.....thanks for posting them . I was telling DH about ICE the other day.....I think it looks really neat . Glad you liked it and had a good time .


Mare.....Isn't shopping this week the craziest . When I went to Target today it was just NUTS . My Christmas shopping is done but I needed a few household items........people everywhere I turned and the checkout lines were nutso . I will kinda be glad when it's this time next week and all the crazy running around is done .


BlueSkies.....Aren't teens just SO MUCH FUN to deal with . I REALLY need this 2 week break.......my sanity is about to run out .


Chan........Hope you got a chance to sit down tonight . Sounds like you've been running yourself ragged today . I'm anxious to see how much (if any) snow we get tonight . The news said it's supposed to start after midnight....so we'll see . Nothing is happening here yet.......how about up by you ?

We just got our hair cut. Anywhooo...we are lookin' good.

Marvel have a FANTABULOUS FAN ------tastic trip!!! Remember to look tangly and uppidy...UPPITY..but I had to spell it like the anti GF peeps do with that D in there.

Trying to get teacher's gifts put together here. YES>.it's been a crazy rushing day and I am hoping for that snow day tomorrow just so I can catch up on the house and all that jazz.

Maxie, I love your ICE pics!! Thanks for sharing them. IT looks like it was amazing. I don't know that I'd want to be in that 9 degree area. Hmmm......we have that here and I am miserable...but maybe for a quick peek at the beautiful sculptures. Do you have any pics of the Gaylord Palms? I am curious.....

OK....have to run and finish up. I AM TIRED. Totally tired out...and it was funny because I usually have the Xmas radio station on in the car....today I was flipping between songs and commercials and heard QUEEN and David B singing PRESSURE twice!! I love that song...and it fits the season...that's my Xmas carol.

TTYL! Hope for that snow day, Deb!! They are saying 12 to 15 inches up here by me....but NOTHING happening yet. It was supposed to hit about 3...then they moved it to 7 ...now to 11 pm. They are saying snow, ice, and thunder and lightening....craziness. What if it's all a bluff?

omg..you guys...i just had to add ...i went to my emails and I AM GONNA HAVE TO THROTTLE MY FRIEND HEIDI!! Heidi...if you are lurking...WATCH OUT! I am coming after you with my Facebook skills.

I have another 60+ friend requests on my stupid facebook...all kinds of tree hanging ornament thingys...and then Charlie Brown requests from like 12 peeps...and I don't know what to do!!!!!!

I let 2 peeps be my friend. I know them from HS....but it's so funny...some of these people I am like..."Huh?" I don't remember them! And their photos are no help!!

OK...ttyl! for real this time...I am dawdling & dinking around....need to move.......

Morning Gals and Marvel


We didn't end up with any snow here.......just alot of rain/sleet/ice . It's actually not as bad as I was thinking it would be. DH plowed the driveway and it was kind of slushy.......but it's still raining . DH said he saw snow on the driveway just before he went to bed at almost midnight.......but it changed quickly because we have NO SNOW accumulation . While watching the news last night we saw alot of schools already closing for today . So far no word here about school.......but I'm sure we'll atleast have a delay if school isn't called completely .


Chan.......That's funny about the Facebook thing . How much snow did you guys end up getting ? 12-15" of snow is ALOT OF SNOW . DH and DS were so hoping for that here......but all we got was sleet/ice . But according to the news this morning it's supposed to snow for the next 2-3 days here.....not sure how much accumulation they're saying.....just snow .


Maxie....I'd also love to see pics of Gaylord Palms if you have any .

Looks like Christmas break is starting a day early . No school here either......got the call about an hour ago that it was cancelled due to a power outage . DH just left to head to work but said the roads are horrible........we'll see if he makes it or if he has to come back home .

I just got candles in the mail that I ordered from a friend from her daughters dance school and they are the wrong ones. WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just ordered a cookie basket to my mil in FL and I found KODA this am for 99 bucks at target.
