Having 2 simultaneous tickets

My husband and I both have annual passes We will also be going to WDW with my daughter's high school band and purchasing base tickets for that. (The tickets are part of the band trip package...we cannot separate them out.) Will having 2 legitimate tickets give us the ability to make FP on each? Is there any benefit to having 2 tickets for the parks?

*Please, no flames for asking about using FP on both tickets. I do not feel like that is cheating the system, as both tickets have been legitimately paid for.

That's a good idea! I will have to check on that to see when they expire.

you have to use that park ticket as you enter the park, without doing that, if you try to use a FP on the ticket that wasn't used to enter the park Disney can lock your account and you have to go to guest services to fix. I would just keep the other two tbase tickets and see if you can use them as part of a renewal for your AP or use for a future trip.

Unless something has changed the band tickets will have a short expiration date.

Once you enter with the AP then exit and renter with the ticket. They will have to be under different MDE accounts

The tickets that I've received as part of an ESPN WWoS package have only been good for the timing around the event itself. The reason they were discounted was on the assumption that you could only use the parks for a short while, because you were in the competition for most of the time.

It didn't occur to me to use both tickets to get the benefit of double FP+... d'oh! But I was the only one with an annual pass, so I guess I would've only done me any good. Great idea though... have a great trip!

It's a shame you can't use your passes. My daughter had a school trip years ago, and she just had to pay for the bus, saving me a lot. I did tell her teacher that I would pay for a park ticket if there was an issue, but there was not.

Only way you could do it is if you enter the park twice, using both your pass, and the ticket you get through the band. If you are going to do that, and make sure that the band ticket is attached to a DIFFERENT MDE account than the pass, then you can get FP on both with no problem.
