I am sitting her having tea and Dis'ing and should really be wrapping gifts. I have a room full, and haven't done one yet. Talk about procrastinating. :surfweb:

I have however, shoveled the driveway 3 times, and done my truck twice. The snow just doesn't stop.

Anyone else not wrapped anything yet? :rolleyes1

I haven't bought anything yet to wrap....:rotfl:

Whoa! :upsidedow

I have only wrapped for those that get their gifts before Christmas because I won't see them that day. I'm not real good at wrapping. I buy gift wrap, I don't know why. I usually scramble to find gift bags and tissue paper. :upsidedow The presents look better that way and the bags are reusable.

I have wrapped everything at least twice. The cat unwraps everything. :rotfl2:
So I am holding off wrapping them

I wrapped all my kids gift last night. Took me 2 hours, but I'm so glad it is done now. Last year I wrapped everything on Christmas Eve. :scared1: I did not want to do that again.

I like the bags as well, and do those for adults and my children. That will be the easy part. I use the paper for the younger ones. We have 2 younger cousins 2 and 4, and they LOVE to unwrap the gifts.

I am also supposed to go and finish shopping for my son, but not sure on that. That will depend on the snow this afternoon.

Nope, haven't wrapped anything yet either. DS who is 9 is starting to get a little worried :scared: I will take pity on him and wrap some today. I just don't want the "can I please open just one?!?" chorus to start up . . . :santa: Maybe I am feeling a little too Scroogy this year!

Me. I started buying gifts about a week ago. They are stashed in my closet. I bought gift boxes and gift wraps, but haven't wrapped a single gift.

I did wrapped one gift about 3 weeks ago. i had put it under the tree. Then my 23 mo old son found it and started unwrapping it. So, I took the gift from him and put in the closet too.

I usually wrap gifts the moment I bring them into the house, but for some reason this year I'm a lazy wrapper. :confused3

Same here! Well, I did buy a couple of gifts, but it was from Amazon and they won't get her until (knock on wood) the 24th. :scared1: That's probably when DH and I will do our shopping anyway.

DS is the easiest. I'm giving him a wallet full of gift cards and some cash. I only have one small child to buy for (my nephew). The older kids just don't want or need anything really.

I have no wrapping paper...I have bows, can I just stick those on them with a tag?....oops...no tags.:confused3 I still have 7 more days.:confused3

I wrapped last weekend, and have everything done but a few things I bought on Monday. It took almost 4 hours!

I took the day off last Friday to get it all done, but the kids had a snow day, so I did very little.

When I went downstairs to get the bags of gifts, I noticed our bulkhead had leaked, and the floor was soaked underneath. I had to take several items out of their packaging, and I have to replace one thing, but it wa o.k. in the end. It just took me a lot longer than I expected.

I actually put a few things under the tree. The cat loves sitting on them and DD9 can't stop telling me how tempting they are and begging to open something.

I am completely done wrapping except for ONE item. It's not large or hard to wrap yet somehow it alludes me. I can always think of something else to do other than wrapping that one darned gift. Maybe I don't want to wrap it because then I will be completely done shopping and wrapping?:confused3

Bags are banned in our house because everyone agrees they are no fun to open. Even the adults want to rip open paper.

Who needs tags? Just cut your paper in a little square, fold it in half so it looks like a flap and - voila! instant tag.

I bought tags last year and my husband wouldn't use them because he liked the flap method better.

We ran out of tags this year long before we ran out of presents so we took old Christmas cards and cut them up using pieces from the covers of the cards as tags! it worked great and voila! We were being green!

Don't get burned like me...One year I was like I have all night after Christmas eve, well I got so tired that night I was scrambling thru my sister old gift bags to do up all the kids' gifts. Christmas morning they were like "who's Bob?" :rotfl:

Major procrastinator here. It's a yucky day out, I'm sitting here in bed in my PJs with a warm puppy on me while DISing. I'm surrounded by bags of presents for Matthew that I keep telling myself I'm going to wrap before he gets home from work. I keep looking at the clock and thinking "I'll take the stuff inside and wrap it at 12:00" Then I say 12:30. I keep adding on a half an hour. If you see me here at 1:30 you know I'm still procrastinating

nope no yet. Kids will be out of school on Friday. i better get crack'in!
I shovelled too this morning. supposed to get more on Friday . Oh joy.....................
