do they still have meet n greets with the stage performers? My DGDs would be thrilled to hang out with professional dancers/singers/entertainers since they are in the "dance is life" portions of their lives.

THANX!!

On our August cruise on the Magic, the last night at the fair well party they had the stage performers out in costume and you could meet them and take pictures in the atrium. Very crowded, but my daughter got lots of very good pictures with the dancers. That is the only cruise I have been on that I can remember being able to interact with the stage performers.

On a 12 night Disney Magic cruise this summer, they had on a sea day a behind the scenes WDW Theater tour, we spoke to a number of performers, and the techs, and stage, props crew, and were told about forthcoming enhancements and shows.

that behind the scenes tour was what i was referring to. i guess it is only a "sometimes" thing?

Generally, it seems to be on the longer cruises, where they need to have "extra" activities to fill the time onboard.

I will point out, if you keep your eyes open, you can often see the entertainment CMs out and about on the ship occasionally, you certainly could talk to them then.

Correct, we had a behind the scenes tour on the Panama Canal cruise earlier this month. It was very enlightening. We got to go into the control room, the stage, the dressing area, the pit, ride the lift. We saw the props, costumes, wigs for several shows. We enjoyed talking with the techs and performers.

on my last cruise I noticed that Prince Charming was also Mickey's handler during the "see you real soon" event

On our WBPC cruise, we got to meet all of the cast from...shoot...I cant remember the show...the one with the Dalmatians, Peter Pan etc. They were all out as part of the see you real soon party. It was so awesome. We got to thank everyone, take pics, etc. We really got to know them...for example, Woody in the Toy Story musical, was also Prince Charming at the Tea and was a character handler and was a Dalmatian too. So awesome.

maybe I'll write to the CD and see if they can work some magic for me..............who can tell? stranger things have happened. Heck, I found someone to marry me....
