Ok so I just wanted to basicly type and see what you guys thought.

My Trip is not for another 2-3 weeks.

June 2nd, Saturday -
Leave Mississippi and head for Panama City, FL. Plan on leaving early to arrive at my sisters house there. Staying til Monday.

June 4th, Monday -
Leave Panama City no later then 8:30 and head for Orlando, FL. Arrive around 2pm, check into DoubleTree Hotel. Once checked in, head to DTD to spend some Disney Visa Reward points at Disney Store. Hang out in DTD till around 5:45 then head to City Walk. Park for Free (after 6pm, right?)then head to US, get tickets printed out and decide to go into park or head back to hotel.

June 5th, Tuesday -
Go to US and have a blast!

June 6th, Wednesday -
Go to IOA and have another blast!

June 7th, Thursday -
Go to US and IOA and have some more blastes! Hang out and relax, do favorite rides, eat somewhere nice.

June 8th, Friday -
We'll probably head on back to Panama City after check out time.

Alot of things depend on if the Hotel has a room open yet or not, if they don't we can still check in, if they do have a room open we'll spend some time unloading and if we need to go groccey store shopping we'll do that on the way back. Anyone know, will we see a groccey store somewhere on our track that first day?

Anywho, thanks for reading!

Sounds good. Make sure you get there early!

Sorry, don't know about the grocery store though but I think there is one up Kirkman?

yes that's why i booked at the Doubletree... I want to get to the parking garage by 830...

robvia would know better, but I am sure that while walking from Walgreen's on Kirkman I crossed in front of the Double tree - There is the possibility that you can WALK to Universal and IOA using Major Boulevard. Takes no more time than walking from the Portofino to the gates of US .

Have fun!! Make sure you check in when you get back so we can hear about your trip!

i will i will and im going to try to get soem pictures too while im there...

almost there, less then 2 weeks!

June 4 parks open til 8PM so you will not have much time.

Publix north on Kirkman to Conroy in northwest corner. Turn left on Conway then right into shopping plaza. Also a WalMart on Kirkman a bit further north.

As others have said you can walk from Doubletree easily to universal. You are across the street from the Portofino. Your hotel also has complimentary shuttle

well i figured we may not worry about going into the park but instead get our tickets at least printed, if even that, we may just leave DTD and go groccey shopping and not worry about getting our tickets until the next day.. i heard there usually aren't very long lines at the kisk? stations and they do turn on before the park does, right?

thanks
jai

The Kiosk stations are on before the parks opens. You can get there at 8am and get your tickets. Remember to bring your credit card, and the reservation number. It only takes a few minutes to get your tickets, then you get in line at the gate.

Crowds should be moderate in early June. Kids will be out of school, but the summer season is just getting started.

You can walk from the Double Tree across Kirkman Road to the parking garage. That would save you $11 a day on parking. You can see what it looks like here Offsite . Leave the Double Tree around 07:30am and you'll walk up to the gate first. Going into the park first give you a huge advantage, you can do the most popular attractions for 2 hours, then relax.

dont know about the whole walking think yet... my feet can't takek too much concrete walking.

i figured well decide at the spot. im hoping the hotel wont charge us the parking fees... thats completely retarded.
