haven't done shirts before - color choices

I bought a black shirt without thinking to do a mickey head on it - DUH! there's no way that'll show up! Now I've gotta find a design that will look good on black. WHat do I need to look for - one with a white background or what do you suggest?

I usually pick my shirt color by the time of year we are going....for example we are going in October so we have purples, oranges, yellows, greys.

As far as what looks good on black pretty much anything other than black.

I really like yellow backgrounds on black and you can always do a white background.

Another tip if you are using something with a black outline or border and putting it on a black shirt is to leave a little of the white transfer on the outside edge when you trim your transfer down to size.
