And when I did go, I didn't have my Disney savvy that I do now. So I would like to know :

How long are the waits for the popular rides? ( we will be there Dec. 22)
Do they have some kind of fast pass system?
Do we need to "race" to one particular experience or we may get shut out later in the day?
Same question as above regarding Polar Express.

I am hoping that Sea World will not be as crowded as WDW, but like I said, it's been so long..and even then my kids were little so we didn't do anything but the shows, and it was February..Are the crowds going to be managable?

We are the type that kind of goes with the flow, if something is too crowded, we will skip it. But we DO want to take in some of the things!

Thanks for the info!

Avoid Polar Express area right after the Shamu Show lets out. The two "rides" are in the back of the park. If you want to ride those- I would head that way first thing.

They recently started a type of fast pass-you can read about on SW website ( I have not used it).

Thank you!

ETA: Just checked the website and "Quick Que" is $29.95/person with unlimited front of the line queing for the day..A little too pricey for me, but if it were for WDW, I'd jump on it in a heartbeat!!

I would do the Polar Express and Happy Harbor during the Shamu Show, it tends to be less crowded during those times. I agree with livndisney to do the rides first as the lines can get long during the peak season. During this time it is recommended that you arrive to all shows around 45 minutes early if you would like to see them. The fast pass thingie does sound a bit pricey to me unless it includes a special show viewing area :lmao:

We were there on November 5th and did not have to wait for more than 20 minutes on any rides or attractions....I personally do not think the SW fast pass system is worth it.....The SHOWs were the highlights....Shamus of course, but my favorite is the Sea Lion Show...be very wary of the the SPLASH zones....at the Shamu show I saw a family get creamed....not just splashed CREAMED with water....so what ever floats your boat so to speak...Polar Express was not up and running when I was there....hope this helps...Oregon Duck

PS....Is that a Berner? LOVE BERNERS!!
