My girls wanted to go to the Sandcastle Club on our last trip, but they were 6 and barely 5 and I just couldn't bring myself to do it. But I've already reserved a couple of spots for them this time while hubs & I hit the Yachtsman Steakhouse. I know they'll have a great time, and so will we.

I'll echo everyone else here to say the Disney Kids Clubs are great.
We sent our son to the one at GF (Mouseketeer's Club?) last February. Like you, we were fairly nervous -- he rarely has babysitters (and then it's a grandma), we were in a strange place, etc. On top of that, the club at GF isn't the best. It's pretty puny, actually. But we dropped him off & went off to Citricos, rushing back as soon as our meal was over. He LOVED it. Loooooooved it.
In November, we stayed at WL and he went to the (so much bigger and better) Cubs Den while we went to Artist Point. He again had a fantastic time, and even made a new friend.
We're going to YC in a few days, and you can bet that we've already booked him for a night at the Sandcastle Club.
We're all huge fans of the kids club now, and look forward to it -- date night for the parents and a fun break for the kids.
I was going to say the same thing but with all the home schooling these days, the protective OP mom might be doing that. But if not, the kids clubs are absolutely more fun than going to school, that's for sure.
My youngest of three DD's was just shy of 3 when they went to the Neverland Club. She just had to be potty trained and pretty self sufficient to go. She actually did have an accident while there when she was trying to get to the restroom though. They actually gave her a brand new outfit to put on (her older sisters helped her change) they could not help her. Great people there.
Kids get exhausted at Disney too. There is so much regimentation and "hurry up to stand in line." My kids appreciated the free time to play with toys, meet other kids, and just decompress for a while.
I've booked my LO to go to Sandcastle from 6-10, and DH and I will go to Chefs de France and then watch Illuminations before we come pick her up. How awesome!

For sure I would do it. We've done similar things (kids clubs on disney cruise, etc) and to our surprise our kids always had a blast and never wanted to leave. Finally, we made them leave one night at 10:30.
Glad to hear such a great comments on the Kid's Clubs in WDW. I am looking at using it in April! We have used Aunty's Beach House in Aulani and the Pinocchio's Workshop at the Grand Californian and both were awesome! Aulani is much more awesome cause it's free!!!
I reserved this earlier today and just tried to link it to My Disney Experience but it isn't coming up. Is this suppose to be able to be linked? I'm concerned my reservation didn't go through or something....
