Have you watched Wishes from Narcoosee's?

Hi, DIS Friends-

We are eating at Narcoosee's on our first evening in WDW. I'd like to make ADRs around 8PM to try and have a better chance at getting a window table.

Have you watched Wishes before from this restaurant? What did you think of the view? Do they dim the lights and pipe in music?

I too was thinking of going there to see fireworks. Do you have kids? Mine are 7 & 4. I read on the board they are child friendly, do you know? I to was thinking about 7:30 for dinner ( fireworks are at 9). Hope you enjoy will be theire in July.

We'll be there in July also!

Our kids are DS -13 and DD - 17.

Everything that I've read says that Narcoosee's is kid-friendly, obviously not to the extent that Chef Mickey's is, but that it isn't like Shula's. If your children do well at most sit-down restaurants, I would venture that they would be fine!

Unless you have a window seat, you might have to go out onto the balcony to watch the fireworks. The music is piped outside so it's a nice view. Sometimes if the balcony is crowded it's tough to look out the windows at the fireworks.

We saw many kids the night we dined there, the fireworks were early so we watched them before getting seated for dinner.

We ate at Narcoosee's last July and the meal was pretty good. We had our children with us as well (7,6,2). One word of caution...We went on a somewhat gray and gloomy day. It wasn't raining, but had been earlier in the day. For whatever reason, it made the windows of restaurant so fogged and steamed over that you couldn't see a thing out of them! It was all on the outside, so you couldn't even wipe it down with a napkin.

Well I did it! I just got off the phone and made my AR on July 4th we will it at 7:10 and sty to see the fireworks. I figure I will go outside with the kids. I just hope we here the music, some say you may not? If anyone has been their please post. We are all excited.

Don't even worry about a window seat--most likely there will be so many folks on the deck that you can't see out anyway(the deck is at the same "level" as the tables inside). Just go out on the deck and enjoy the show from there.
