Have you tried Cap'n Jacks?

I've heard a couple bad reviews about Cap'n Jacks. I'm just wondering how many have tried it and what you thought. If it is bad I don't wan't to waste my meal credit.

Ate there for the first time last month. We both had ribs with mashed potatoes. The ribs were just okay and the mashed potatoes were no better than going to a chain restaurant like Fridays or Bennigans. I would not recommend it as I wouldn't go back. I suggest Fulton's instead if you are looking in that area.

It's not bad -- it's dreadful. As in, "I can't believe the food is this awful" dreadful. Save the points and eat someplace else; or, if you like the lakeside location, have a drink at the bar if it's not too crowded.

i tried to get a ps at capt jacks. by the sound of it i guess i should be happy they were booked up and i had to go with wolf gang pucks cafe.

I ate there last August. It was awful. I would never eat there again...I'd go to McDonald's first!!

Good Downtown Disney meals are the House of Blues and Fulton's. Don't bother with Planet Hollywood either. I didn't enjoy my lunch and the whole place smelled like wet mop. I'm also trying Wolfgang Puck's Cafe this trip coming up.

Go anywhere else. Ordered the steak. The food came in literally five minutes.
Believe it is pre-cooked and sitting in steam trays. It was lukewarm. For the price the portions were tiny. McDonalds is a big step up. Avoid this place like the plague. It is that bad.

I ate there in 2003 and I personally don't really have any intentions to go back...my dbf liked the food, he had tuna with wasabi potatoes but my steak was just okay...I think even he'd agree that Fulton's is 500% better and way more worth the money...It's one of my must haves every trip!

I would not go back, we thought the food was awful. I am surprised that they are still in business, great location, lousy food.
