I could tell there's an age difference. How did you find out their exact ages?

i looked them up right when I heard about the story which was a week or so ago and their facebooks were open to the public and they had their ages listed. i was curious to see if they were on the dis or not.

This story has been bothering me all day. It's just really disturbing and I'm glad it's getting some media attention. An article on ABC News says that he ran off with the kids in March of this year, I guess they reconciled last May and she thought things were going well until he ran off this year. She's probably not the brightest crayon in the box to not suspect anything, but that doesn't make what he did ok.

How did he get a new marriage license? I would think they would have done some background checks, at least into tax filings to see that he was married and then asked for proof of divorce? I saw some of the pictures of the girl he married, how could she, in good conscious, keep someone else's children from them?

I just can't imagine how it is legal for one parent to run off with the kids to another state and keep them from the other parent??

it is really messed up her entire facebook page is pictures of the kids with headlines like "my boys" and she posts stuff like "being a full time mom is hard", and "my boys are getting so big" "reading my bear a story" her pet name for them is bear. like she talks about them like they are actually her kids. It is really disturbing, they all need some serious therapy. She supposedly was making all those motherly posts as a way to mock their real mother whom she knew about and knew that the real mom was checking her facebook often. This is the kind of stuff that you go through when you make a practically a teenager your new wife, just high school drama.

and then on the geriatric husbands facebook he had other creepy old men making gross comments. Like his status would be "I'm worn out" and then some creepy old guy would reply "Oh yah, that new young wife is really wearing you out ha-ha!" it was nasty.

They were on the Today Show this morning defending themselves!!! The husband and the new wife.. they basically were saying the first wife was making this all up. They showed some beautiful pics from their disney wedding - the carriage, inside the pavilion, it was so pretty!!!

I knew there was something shady about the whole situation. I wonder how this is going to end. Someone is obviously lying... which one is?? I think it's the first wife. IMO.

My DF and I were saying the same thing. There is more to this story and I think the first "wife" is hiding something.

As for the divorce documents, both my DF and I were married previously (and properly divorced I might add!!) and we do not have to show any proof of the divorce to get a marriage license in FL. I have requested the license via the mail and only had to fill in the dates of the final divorce decrees. I believe if you have been divorced within the past 12 months, you must show something but if it has been years then you are free and clear with just the dates!
