Have you seen Google Maps?

Thanks for the link, these are good, aren't they? I've added it to my favourites :teeth:

Very impressive. Not only can you scroll the maps without having to refresh the screen like most other sites (eg. Multimap, MapQuest), they've also got the link between Universal Drive and the Bee Line Expressway, which no other mapping site has even though it was built about three years ago (things like that matter to a pedant like me! )

Now if only they had the feature that Yahoo Maps had where you can click on a Category (like Grocery Stores, Restaurants, Golf Courses etc.) and it will highlight them all on the map - then it would be PERFECT!

I didn't know Google did maps! These are great, thank you Tim :)

If you click on local search you can search for hotels, shops etc. and they will be hilighted on your current map view :)

Does that mean that I Drive is no longer classed as Junc 1 off the Beeline ? OMG How am i going to cope as everywhere i read has it as such ? :sad2:

Hi, these maps are excellent but I am getting a really small area of map on the screen. Is this how it is or is there a way to enlarge it?

Otherwise brilliant, the detail is better than any map I have seen.

Thanks :)

Hi Sue! Are you referring to the Google maps or the Terra-server maps?

:jester: :jester: :jester:

The Terra-server maps are awesome! Having great fun looking at WDW from the air!

Thanks,
Andy

Not sure what you mean by a 'really small area'. Are you using the zoom bar in the top-left corner of the map or are you just getting a really small window opening up?

No, I-Drive is still Junction 1 - Universal Boulevard joins up with the Bee Line at Junction 2.

Previously from J2, you could only go south onto Orangewood Blvd, but now it goes north as well onto Universal Blvd, past the back of the new convention centre and eventually meets up with I-Drive again at Wet & Wild. It's a good alternative route to use when I-Drive is blocked solid with traffic (i.e. most evenings!), especially when first coming from the airport.

OK guys, no worries, have gone back into it and it's now showing full page. I did wonder if there was something wrong, the map was so small. Anyway it is brilliant now.

Cheers for that,
