Have you seen Characters Water Ski on 7 Seas Lagoon?

We're going to WDW in December, and will be at the Poly one morning for Breakfast. I've heard that the Characters (specifically Goofy) used to water ski on 7 Seas Lagoon in the Mornings. Has anyone seen this? Is it something they still do, and if so, do you have any idea about what time we might catch it?

The only time I ever saw any characters watersking was back in the 70's, early in the morning as people were taking the ferry over to the magic kingdom.

On our very first trip back in the 80's we saw Goofy and friends on the water...I have not taken the ferry the last several trips so I don't know if the characters still do that or not. Guess I wasn't much help!

We saw Goofy waterskiing with Donald driving the boat on our first trip in 1988.

Saw this about 3 years ago,4th of July week.Did not see it this past 4th.

Actually, we saw Goofy and Max waterskiing and then disembarking their ski boat near the Magic Kingdom this past December. It was between Christmas and New Years at some point. So they do still do it, just aparently not very often....
