Have you ridden Nemo first thing on a MM in the Summer?

When we did it on an MM day it was a waste for us. The ride wasn't ready and it was over 30 min before it was up and running. We debated on if we should wait or move on. We waited since it was our first time. Since then the shortest lines I have been in are at night near closing time. Save your MM time for Fantasyland it will be well worth it.

I think I will do just this. I will tell MIL and the rest that we will try to catch a shorter line at night....worse case scenario is that we miss the ride altogether (which doesn't bother me in the slightest). We'll have plenty more to do while in the parks so if we miss this, nobody should really even notice.

Thanks!

You're welcome. Enjoy your trip:thumbsup2

What about doing the walking version of Nemo? I've never done it (actually only ridden Nemo once), but it may be an option if you never see the line short enough for your schedule.

1) Can I grab a FP during MM? (ie: If we head over to Buzz, but finish with it before 8am, can I grab a FP for Space at that time?) Or, are FP's only available beginning with "regular" park hours?

2) I remember quite a while back reading that there were a few specific rides (maybe just 2?) for which FP's were available, but were not "linked" to the rest of the FP system...therefore allowing guests to actually possess 2 FP's at once, so long as one of them was for a "FP-disconnected" attraction. Is this still true? And if so, can somebody please inform me which rides are the "disconnected" ones?

THANKS!!! :)

FPs are not available during MM. And now there is only one unlinked ride - Roger Rabbit. However, DL and DCA are not linked.

so the best times for nemo are really early and late afternoon like 6:00, 7:00pm or later than that. My dd 7 really wants to go on this ride is her first time at disneyland ;)

Thank you! I did take the time to read these, and realized my questions were quickly answered within the info. I got some great ideas from your explanation of your family's strategy during your visits. We've never sent one person in our group off for FP's before, but I think we are really going to be able to implement that strategy this time with great results. I'm so bummed GRR isn't a standalone anymore, but we will work with what we have. Trying to get this schedule down though is much more complicated than it ever has been before for us. Fun, but challenging. Thanks, again.
