Have you purchased the discounted tickets/marathon?

DD and I are running the Princess Half in Feb. and just saw that they offer discounted tickets. They seem to really be discounted! Has anyone purchased these tickets and are they really that inexpensive? We can get a 3 day Hopper for $170? Also, when is the latest you can purchase these? DD's boyfriend is planning on going but I'm afraid that if I buy the tickets work will keep him from actually going!

I know this sounds weird but I am very skeptical when it comes to things like this!

Love reading all the info on the boards about the marathons! This is our first and I'm pretty nervous about actually finishing!

Tickets are for family and friends.
You should have a code..it was sent on the email when you registered. There is a direct link to tickets on the runDisney Princess site.
My two day hopper was $130 and $5 ship. You can pickup at Disney.

I just tried to purchase with the code that I received back in August when I registered. The site tells me that the code is incorrect. Anyone else having problems purchasing?

Never mind. I'm able to get in now.

Prices for base tix (no hoppers, or waterparks)

2 day: $111.83
3 day: $152.30
4 day: $186.38

The race prices are much better than Undercover Tourist. I did it last year and already purchased mine for this year as well.

I just ordered 2 day base tickets for the Everest Weekend. I was really suprised at how much less they were than rack rate. VERY pleasantly surprised.

I'm glad I saw this thread, I was wondering the same thing. The tickets are just like regular tickets? The name Sport Theme Park Tickets had me wondering if they were for only sport related things.

Do they offer these discounted tickets for all races? I did the Wine and Dine last year, but I still had a valid AP at that time so I don't remember if this was offered. I'm going to run W&D again this year and won't have the AP, so that would be great if they do!
