There has been advertisement of a new lipo suction technique. It melts your fat away instead of sucking it out of a tube. I was thinking about trying it, but worried it's going to melt my liver ;)

Anyone heard or tried it? They say it's an out patient procedure and down time is short.

Even "melted" fat would have to be taken (or excreted :scared1: ) from the body somehow. I wonder how it works. I've never heard of it.

Fat that you lose by diet and exercise is excreted from the body. I know it's not all at once. I think this method is one that spot reduces fat.

But it is not excreted as a blob of fat or a stream of liquid fat. During the process of being used as an energy source, fat molecules are broken down into smaller and smaller molecules until eventually what is left is mostly just water and carbon dioxide (which are excreted in obvious ways). Just from the brief information given in the first post, the mental image of "melted fat" made me curious about where it goes, assuming it is not being burned as energy :).

I believe you are talking about Zerona Laser. I've heard of it, but can't imagine it works.:rotfl:
I went in to get a quote on tattoo removal, and heard about this at the laser center I went to.

I believe this process has been around for a year or so. Last week, I read about a celebrity (of course I can't remember who it was) who had the process done and how much weight she lost because of it.

Yeah, but I wonder if the procedure could cause fats to be broken down and metabolized.
