Have you had..2 trips booked at once?!?

Yesterday I booked our trip for November.... we still haven't gone on our Aug-Sept trip!


Since we got our passes last year we have been dying to take my niece and nephew. Our passes expire on Nov 11 , so we have to go before then.

Since there would be five of us (Myself, DH, DS and the kids), we need a room for ...5. Obviously. I tried to call early to check AP rates, but the wait time was crazy! We went to the beach and on our way back, we decided to get a room for 5 at the Poly or one of the Epcot resorts. Well, when I finally get through the CM tells me the only deluxe for my dates is AKL... no thanks! I call again and I was told they had 1 room at BC for $375. Not bad.

Then I thought, we are arriving Fri night and leaving Sunday. The kids do Epcot every nye with their parents, so they won't want to go there. I called back and got 2 rooms at ASSp for 220.00 for both nights. This will be way more comfortable and $155 cheaper. The CM guaranteed me connecting rooms.

During the fall I am a "football widow", so you can imagine the section my DH wants to request! "Am I really doing this?" is what I'm thinking- and in the middle of the season! I must be out of my mind!!!! OH well, I will get ASSp at least crossed off our list in a hurry!!!!!

Congratulations! I once had three trips booked at once! Right now I have no trips booked! All three have now been taken.

Wow-3 trips! I don't know if anyone else has ever had that. But I'll bet a few have had 2. Right now I have 2 trips booked-November at BCV and next May at VWL (hopefully we'll change to OKW).

Currently I have a six day tripped booked to Disneyland in November, a weekend trip booked to WDW in December and an eight night trip booked to WDW in March 2003.

I have a Thanksgiving trip booked for my son and I. I'm about to book a solo trip for the fourth of July 2003 (Son will be at camp), and a Christmas 2003 trip with my sister, her husband, their 2 kids, my son and I.

We will visit less this year as I am currently looking for work - we visited every four weeks for the last two winter seasons.

This is what we have booked (airfare, car rental, hotel)
August - 5 nights because it was sooo cheap
August - 9 nights booked last November
September - 1 night WDW then Disney Wonder 3 nights
October - 3 nights Disneyland
October - 3 nights for Halloween/Food&Wine
January - 3 nights marathon
March - 8 nights booked several months ago

6 upcoming trips to WDW and one to DL - need to get value from those APs

Right now im booked for December. I'm in mourning though cus I currently have no plans for 2003 yet But at least I got the hubby to agree to AP's again. So I know I can weasel at least one maybe even 2 trips next year

We have a trip planned for October and as of 8/5/02 I will be calling MS to book our vacation for next year @ the BCV...
It gives us much to anticipate...

Springbreak we were at DL and decided thet we still wanted to go to the Polynesian for the 4th of July. Then I decided to go to AKL for my 40th birthday with my 2 son's. I also take my youngest for his b-day in Sept. and I will bring my DD that's at BWI Then we spend Christmas at the BWI so, had 4 trips booked at once. I am now happy with all room rates and airfares....car rental could be a little better! Next year I think I will only go 2x's maybe 3. It's those darn AP rates I cannot resist LOL! Laurie

we've got 3 nights in september (39 days to go!), 8 nights august 2003 (graduation gift for my son), 7 nights august 2006 (i'm going alone!), and 13 nights november 2008 (our 10 year anniversary!) and there will probably be a 3 night visit to DLP during summer 2005, too!

I have 3 MORE trips booked for this year. In January I had SIX trips booked:

Jan 6 days AKL 3 days/ sports 3 days (Done) (2 ressies split)
April 20-May 4 A/S Music (Done) (2 ressies)
June 21-30 Dixie Landing (Done) (2 ressies)

And 3 more left to take:

Aug 8-13 Dixie landing (1 ressie)
Sept 19-24 Movies (PIN event) (1 ressie)
Oct. 24-Nov. 2 Movies (2 ressies)

So in January I actually had 10 different reservations. Hubby is a CM and we can only hold a ressie for 7 days, so when we stay more than that we have to have a second ressie. (We have to check in and then check out, but never change rooms). BTW, we are not locals either and FLY out of Washington DC each and every trip. We're just Empty Nesters and Pin Collectors too. You can imagine when I call to modify my reservations (which I do often). I never seem to have the reservation number so they just scroll down until they find the right one. They always laugh at me because I'm usually saying "no, not that one, the next one". Call me crazy, but we usually only go 5 times a year for the past couple of years, but had some plane vouchers to use before then expired so threw in the August long weekend (only 6 days). So with the cheap fare, and 50% off room, it's cheaper for us to go to WDW then the beach. One of the reasons we always have so many rooms booked is that when Cast rates comes out, you always need to book your rooms so that you can get in at the cast price.
