Have you ever worked with someone that gave you the creeps?

Ick, ReneeA. Gross. It's one thing to just be odd. It's whole other thing to be a touchy pervert .

Oh yes. He was an Intellectual Property lawyer, who flirted with me only when I was pregnant. Seriously. My first two kids were only 21 months apart, and I could definitely tell that he paid a LOT of attention to me when I was visibly pregnant and ignored me when I wasn't. Is that creepy or what? Other women told me that they wouldn't get on a elevator with him because he creeped them out so much.

I used to work with a guy that talked to my ****s, or is that my pretties? :rotfl2: I finally told him that they aren't going to answer so he may as well talk to me. :teeth:

Hey you used my word! I tough I was the ONLY one that called them pretties! :rotfl:

I've worked with some nutty people, but not too many creepy ones. But there were 2.

1. A guy I worked with about 10-15 years ago. Most of the staff were twentysomethings, I was a thirtysomething, he was probably closer in age (or even older) than me. He just creeped all the women out--he was always staring at us. He also wanted you to have conversations with him on the most inane things. But the weirdest thing was the way he would follow the female who was training him. He would wait outside the ladies room so he could ask her a question. And he wasn't able to handle the job. So one day, as she was going over his work with him and showing him his mistakes, he got up, said "I can't take this anymore" and stalked out of the office, never to return. Weird.

2. A woman we worked with about 2 years ago. She was just the most unpleasant person I have ever met in my life. Nasty to everyone. Everyone else made mistakes, not her. She was keeping track of anyone's hours, going thru people's desks when they weren't there, just really mean. When they replaced our computers, some people had asked if we could take the old ones, we were told we couldn't have them. She saw them in dumpsters and called her boyfriend to come & take them. (before he could get into NYC, they had been carted away) The final thing was when she cheated on her OT. We used to be allowed to do some work at home. She claimed lots of hours, but didn't do the work. Of course, she thought she was getting away with all of this--but what she didn't know was the boss had been watching her carefully. One day last June, she was told to go to HR--and she was fired! Everyone breathed a sigh of relief.

I worked with a super creepy girl about two years ago. She came in as a temp. I work in customer service on the phone and when new people start, they listen in on your phone calls. A customer was complaining about something minor, the call is coming in on my headset which is in my left ear and "Creepy" was leaning into my right ear saying "Tell her to burn down her house!" in this weird evil whisper.
Her fingernails were always filthy, she would tell me every day about how her current smelly outfit came out of a dumpster the night before (she liked to "dumpster dive"). Whenever we were in a meeting or a training session and papers would be handed out, she'd bring the piece of paper real slow up to her nose and take a long sniff.
One morning she sneezed into her hands, wiped all kinds of snot onto her dirty jeans and then walked over to scoop up baked oatmeal that another coworker had made for everyone!
One afternoon I walked into the ladies room as she was coming out of the handicapped stall with a book and a fountain drink, she passed me and said "You don't want to go in there!" and strolled out without washing her hands!
The final straw was something that she'd said to me that was very sexually inappropriate (I don't know how I can paraphrase for this family-friendly board) and I marched into my managers office. I couldn't even look at her in the face because I was mortified to repeat what Creepy said. HR was in there later that day and she was finally gone!

There is a guy that works down the hall, he has to come in our office every morning to pick up stuff. He is extremely odd, many of us agree he is the type that will just show up one day with a machine gun a mow a bunch of people down. I'm always nice to him because I don't want to end up on his list. He tells EVERYONE his personal problems, esp. trying to meet girls on match.com and not having success. He drove an hour the other week to meet one and she only stayed 15 minutes and left abruptly. He brings in pictures of himself in full star-trek make-up as a klingon (however you spell it). He goes to Star Trek conventions all the time. He talks to himself constantly, I caught him the other day, when he saw me he picked up the phone quickly and acted like he had been on the phone :rotfl: I do feel sorry for him, he obviously doesn't have many friends.

Ive got a couple that I work with right now that give me the heebies on a daily basis.. :rotfl2:

Not really right now. My husband had a coworker who used to cut his nails at his desk and save the clippings in the drawer. But, he was more of a dandy than a creep.

Oh yeah, definitely!! Some of the dishwashers my boss hires are pretty creepy! One was a convicted child molester who couldn't talk to any of the women working without grabbing at his crotch. :earseek: I was so glad when he finally quit. He still comes in occasionally to eat and I hate having to wait on him.

Now she's hired another one who I just found out spent 12 years in prison for "accidentally" shooting and killing his wife. :earseek: I don't like being alone with him, which I have to do every Monday night for half an hour or so after the cooks finish their cleaning and leave. He just makes me nervous.
