Have you ever won an online contest?

I've been entering online contests for a while, and have yet to win anything. Have any of you ever won an online contest/sweepstakes? If so, what did you win?

Nothing major, but yes, I have won on-line, though I am in Canada. I have even one twice through a FaceBook contest.

Now if only I can win a trip.

I enter contests all the time.

This year so far I have won nothing too much, 8 rapid rewards for dh, but added to what he already had we now have 1 free ticket for our Dec. disney trip

Also some coupons for free pasta, free pasta sauce and so far I have won 10 boxtops in the boxtops4education contest.

Last year I won a $250 rite aid gift card or $200, cant remember and some baby stuff.

a laptop through the Dell holiday contest (actually, my wife won it.... first time she logged in to play the game. I, on the other hand, tried my luck daily for a month and got squat )

1st was on the Boxerjam game site..I won a $100 gift cert. to Bath and Body Works..waited till they had one of their b2g1 free sales and really stocked up`
2'nd time was on the Food Network..they had some online contest for that 'unwrapped' show they used to have..I think Marc Summers was the host..anyhow, I won a food network lunchbox , a tee shirt, some sun tanning products, and a drinking cup..lol

I am a member at OLS but no longer spend hours entering. Usually, I will spend an evening once a month entering the "one entry only" sweeps. I think that winning sweeps used to be much easier before the internet sites.

Still, I've won some small things. Ipod, movie tickets, video game, small gift cards. The largest contest that I have ever won was through a second chance drawing. Watch the fine print for those.

I try not to waste valuable time doing it. But, if I am already vegging in front of the tv, I will pull my laptop out and multitask.

Yes, on the website of an Ecuadorean tour company (which I knew was legit because I had traveled on one of their trips perviously), in 2000 I entered a contest to win a trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. You had to take a quiz about the Galapagos Islands, and everyone who got all the answers right was entered in the drawing. They gave a two (or three? I don't remember) digit number to each entrant, and then on the specified day, they said that the person with the number that matched the last digits of the winning national lottery ticket would win the trip. And I won!

But it was a little wierd: the prize was a trip for ONE, which I've never heard of before! So I went by myself. Airfare, two nights hotel in Quito, Airfare to the Galapagos, 5 day tour of the Galapagos, City tour of Quito, dinner at a really nice restaurant with a few people from the tour company, and all transfers, and a swag bag.

It was pretty awesome!

A few years ago i won a trek bike during the tour de france scratch offs. it was quite a nice upgrade from my then bike so i was pretty pumped. still have it and love it!!

I won a Disney Princess cordless phone from Disney.com- I think it was a sweepstakes when they re-released Snow White about 7-8 years ago. The grand prize was a weeklong trip to WDW- that was what we were hoping for, but the phone was really cute.

Wow!!! Now THAT'S my kind of contest!!

I never have but my son did last month. He won an online video singing contest. He won a DVD of one of his favorite old time shows.

The amazing thing is he won it on the same day my aunt died. He played the song for her in the hospice and she was routing for him. In the middle of the sad aftermath, everyone, including her kids piped up and cheered because he won the contest. They told him Mom would be so proud.

He's STILL floating!

I've won a few little things....the biggest was a camera package (about $100).

Have had more luck with radio web contests....my girls were thrilled when I won the Legally Blonde the musical tickets.

Nothing huge. I won a Sony Ericsson phone from a WTA drawing one time (third place prize). It was a REALLY nice phone but it wouldn't work with Verizon so I just sold it on eBay and got over $200 for it .

I am also a member of OLS and try to do about two hours a week entering contests.

My dear friend is also a member and wins all kinds of stuff, the latest being the Shrek Premiere contest where she won first place and got to fly to Los Angeles and attend the premiere and party and all sorts of fun things.

She also won a huge flat-screen TV in another contest.

I won, but not through OLS. I was a Last Minute Travel winner and won a week's stay in Hawaii.

I enter all the time and I never win anything......nothing, nada, nuttin.....but someday, someday I will win something and it will be a good something! LOL

I don't know if it is a "contest" but I won a portable CD/discman deal about 10 years ago. There was some allergy alert site and they had a monthly drawing and I won that one month. It had the cassette player adapter that you could use in your car even .
