Have you ever visited Cape Cod?

oops...forgot to answer your questions.....we stay a relatives or rent a cottage at Pine Oaks in Chatham. DHs brothers used to own the SouWester in Chatham and we often had huge Thanksgivings there. Now we eat at relatives and have a friend of the family that gets us fresh steamers each visit. Yummy!!!!! We really don't eat out much, but have to have a drink at the Squire. (we both worked there in our younger years!!)

I'll never forget for DHs 40th birthday, I had steamers shipped from Chatham Fish and Lobster to surprise him. (yeah...kind of pricey on the shipping but worth it once on a special occasion)

I'm probably going to the cape in August and have these places in mind. They are Cape Codder, Hyannis Harbor Hotel, Bayside Resort in W. Yarmouth or All Seasons Motor Inn in S. Yarmouth. Can I get some opinions on which, if any, of these are good choices? Thanks!

Those are good choices... Lets see I believe the Bayside is Beach front> So that would be a good choice if you are looking for that. I would not go For The All Seasons. that is located directly on 28. A very busy congested tourist area. However if a dozen mini golfs, And abundant Restaurants are a big draw, than Maybe. I have stayed at the Cape codder twice. we go overnight for the pool. We live about 6 miles waway:rolleyes: It has a great waterslide and indoor wave pool. which is for all ages its zero entry very easy with little ones. And has some little shooting gysers at the zero entry area. And 2 slides. There are 2 room differances, A standard typical cape cod style. And a deluxe, some have a loft bedroom and are typically more upscale INN style. They have a little courtyard near the pool, and I believe have a storytime at night around a fire. I would stay there. Particularly since the weather has not been Beach weather. Also you would be 2 minutes from the Mall area. and about 10-15 from the rt, 28 Yarmouth tourist areas. Can you tell I would go to th eCape Codder? Good luck. As for me, I would say the Cape Codder than the Bayside.

twinmomplus2- Thanks so much for your help. Can you please tell me your opinion of the Hyannis Harbor? It has an indoor and outdoor pool and I was quoted a family loft suite overlooking the harbor. I liked the idea of the wave pool at the Cape Codder and would have a deluxe room with double beds. Are there balconies or patios here?
Is the Bayside Resort nice looking? I can't find any pictures of the outside of this resort.
Thanks so much for all your help!:D

Sent you a pm. forgot to answer this question... no there are no balconies at the cape codder in standard or deluxe rooms, I am not sure about the suites there, I would though imagine not.

We are leaving for the Cape on 6/29! We always go to Eastham and stay at the Four Point Sheraton. We love Nauset Light Beach and it is a short ride to Truro and Provincetown. We will be eating at Arnold's as it is our fav for seafood! Wellfleet Lobster Pot runs a close second to Arnold's for seafood. You really can't go wrong at either restaurant!

We stayed at the 4 Point Sheraton just last September. Very nice, although we prefer to stay more mid-cape
