Have you ever used Groupon Getaways?

Just wondering if anyone has purchased through this, if you got a good deal, and how the transaction worked out. I've been seeing what looks to be good deals lately, but would like some BTDT reviews.

Groupon used to be awesome, they are terrible now. If you have a problem their customer service will never help you. It used to be the complete opposite they used to be the best. I have purchased a few groupon getaways, and enjoyed them all. I did not find them to be much of a better deal than we could have gotten on our own. We did one in the Bahamas and one in Costa Rica. Groupon is tanking and their customer service is suffering. I had an issue with a business not honoring a groupon that had not expired yet and I tried for more than a month to get it resolved. Groupon never fixed it I ended up disputing it on my credit card to get my money back.

I would recommend looking up the "deal" on your own and seeing how much you can get it for, without the groupon restrictions. Groupon is only good until you have a problem then you are out the cash.
