I was at the "trendy" new candy shop in town today and they have stuff from all around the World as well as stuff you thought they didn't make anymore. ( mini chicklets, Fresh'en up Gum...)

They had Rowntree Fruit Gums and Rowntree Bursting Bugs (no real bugs in them)

I had to buy them because the is my new last name!!!

My HUSBAND (I love saying that) was so excited. There used to be chocolate bars sold in Canada under that name but they were bought out by Nestle.

It made his day along with the Jango Fett Pez dispenser I got him.

Has anyone seen or tried the Rowntree candy? Is it from England?

They are ok tasting but I love the name so I married one.;)

Never heard of it, but that candy store sounds like a neat place to visit....:D

Don't know about your candies, but I do remember the chocolate bars here in Canada when I was growing up.
