how big the world really is. Not just Earth, not just this Solar System, but everything that's out there. Does it go on for infinity, or does it stop somewhere. What does it look like when it stops?

I mean, if you really get to thinking about it the world is HUUUUGE. What's out there?

In a world this big, we can't be the only living things. We can't be in a world or infinity and be the only thing that is alive. We can't be the only societies.

What kind of place do we live in?

There is so many questions. So tell me I'm not the only one who's thought about this. Sure, I really love talking about philosophy but I can't be the only one.

I feel so... microscopic. And I have another question. You know how astronomers speculate how far away planets and stars are? How do they know they're x light years away? We've never gotten humans to pass the moon.

How do we know?

We don't know. I mean, we barely know anything.

You're right, I feel so miniscule. I want to know what's out there. There HAS to be more.

How long does it go on? Infinity? What makes us special that we are alive, forming societies, living our life. I don't think we are, I think there are other people out there. Not like Aliens who live on Jupiter, but real societies. It sounds so weird and sci-fi but that's not what I mean by it.

Anyway, if it does end? What does it look like? The end of the world. How freaky.

I believe in aliens, well maybe not the lil green men with one eye, but things out there diffferent from us.

Ever since I saw Men in black, at the end of both I and II they show how earth is just one "Locker in a locker room" or "our solar system is just one marble"

I've always wondered what else is out there, there HAS TO BE MORE.

Yeah, there has to be more. We can't be the only people in infinity. I mean, come on.

My thoughts that I'm thinking I cannot really put into words.

The thing about infinity is, it can't end. Infinity means forever.
Technically, the universe is based on theory.
We don't know how it happened. How do we know, that Mars is only like, 3 miles away? I mean, really. Weve never BEEN that far to actually know.

And then they have the nerve to tell Pluto its not even a planet!

We don't even know what it is! hardly anyways.

I know. We don't know so much. It seems like we don't know anything at all.

Infinity goes on forever, but it can't be just planets and stars and whatnot.

But think about our world in itself. Balls of matter floating in nothing. Just floating. Just there, nothing holding it up, could it fall at any moment? Where would it fall to?

So many questions. So little answers.

Okay I have one. Where does the galaxy end? I mean really, think about it, the whole solar system with all the planets is only one part of a galaxy. How many galaxies are out there? Where does it end? And when or if it does, what's beyond that? Heaven? Just blank white? Will we ever get past our moon?

There are books and books and websites and websites about the solar system and different types of galaxies and the plants and stars and moons. Yet we know nothing about them. How do we know if theres more galaxies or not? What do they consist of? We don;t know.

I like to think. Of the end of infinity (if that's possible) to be a big black wall. And when the rest of the universe bangs into it, it ends up expanding.

Jaimie, that's is so weird. That's what I imagined the "end" as also.

But yeah. We don't know really anything about our surroundings. We know about our moon, but will we ever get past it? How do we know that the other planets exist? Because we "See" them? How do we know they're not a figment of our imagination?

I don't think we'll ever make it out of our atmosphere.

So is it just Earth in a little black box, just floating there? With it's one moon?

So many questions. So little answers! Existiential Intelligence is getting the best of me.

Pillars of Creation. Taken by the Hubble Telescope. 7,000 lightyears away. 7,000 light years!

7000 light years? I dunno about that. Is that even possible. Are we just seeing things? It looks like a painting. :p

How Big is a light year? Really like how many miles, yards etc? How do you measue 1 lightyear?

What if it is? :)

But yeah, what if it's just us and our moon in a little black box.

In a little black suitcase being carried around by a history teacher on his way to the airport O_o
