Have you ever stayed here?

We are thinking of going to Disney the end of October for the weekend. Our daughter is 2 and we want to take her to MK while she is still free.

We are thinking of staying at these two hotels.

1. Comfort Suites Maingate East $70 + per night
2. Best Western Lakeside $50 + per night

We are planning to go to travel to Florida on Friday – go to Magic Kingdom for the day on Saturday and then leaving Sunday after lunch at Downtown Disney.

All we are looking for is a safe clean place to stay.

What are your thoughts on these hotels? Do you have any other hotel suggestions?

I haven't stayed at either, but maybe you could check the reviews at Trip advisor.com? Also you might want to check out the discounts at Mousesavers.com. You might find a hotel right outside DTD for a comparable price.

You might have better luck posting this to the Orlando board...that has lots of info about off-property hotels & you can probably find someone to give you some info.

Im not sure what the season is for going in Oct., but we are going in value season this Jan. and have a rate of $65 per night at POP on property (AAA rate). If you are possibly going to pay $70 for an off property plus $10-$11 for parking at Disney you may want to check into the price for a night at a value on property. Much more convienent IMO. You would also have access to EMH if they are for the MK on Sat.
