Have you ever spent your birthday while on a vacation somewhere?

I spent my birthday in WDW in 2006 as part of a Grand Gathering. That was a fantastic birthday!

My DH spent his birthday in Australia last year. Since Australia is ahead of us (time-wise) he has now decided that he gets two birthdays - his normal birthday and his Australian birthday (the day before his normal birthday). Fat chance ;)

This year, we are going back to WDW in October, however, we don't know the weeks yet so it may or may not fall on my birthday.

Next year, DH will spend his birthday in the Galapagos Islands, if we go in March.

I celebrated my 50th birthday in Disneyland last year. Trying to figure out where I want to celebrate my 51st at.

I just spent my 30th birthday in WDW last week! It was the first time I've ever gone anywhere on my birthday and it was great! :)

I spent one birthday on vacation. Cruising in Alaska. Not a bad way to spend a birthday if you ask me. It wasn't done on purpose though. That was the time that worked out for everyone that was going with me.

I spent my 18th birthday in Venice whilst on tour with the youth orchestra I was in. Unfortunately I always have to work on my birthday now, unless it is on a weekend. I am always on holiday for our wedding anniversary though, we have spent 2 of those in WDW and one in Las Vegas.

Last year we were in Washington DC for my birthday, didn't turn out to be such a great day though because I had fallen 2 days before on an escalator and broke my knee :rotfl: So my birthday was spent being wheeled around DC in a wheelchair.

Another year we were out of town for my birthday, can't really call it a vacation even though it kinda was. We had driven to New Mexico for a niece's HS Graduation and planned to turn it into a mini vacation as well, but at the last minute my MIL decided to ride down with us and she did not want to do anything at all. Nothing! So, 2 day drive down and 2 day drive back with MIL and we did nothing while there except go to the graduation. I did insist on stopping as we drove thru the mountains coming home, but the non-stop complaining made it a very short stop. DH wore headphones the rest of the way home :lmao:

Oldest DD celebrated her 22nd birthday in Disney World! It was a big family trip and she had a blast, we all did! That's how I want to celebrate a birthday on vacation!

I arrived in Las Vegas the morning of my 21st birthday! What a great time I had with my future DH! We drank and gambled all night long.:cool1: Great memory! :goodvibes

Yes. In 2008 we we got home on my birthday from a road trip out west. I turned 20 in Arkansas. Or if you want to get technical with the time of birth, I turned 20 somewhere in Kentucky.

In 2009 it was at WDW! Great birthday!!!

That was our lunchroom question today.:)

The only birthday I spent somewhere from home was when I turned 25 and I was at a ski lodge in Breckenridge, Colorado........many years ago! It was a fun birthday, tho!

Does the hospital in labor count!

That's where I was 21 years ago - DS #2.

Spent my birthday 2009 on an Alaskan cruise. And spending my birthday 2010 on TransAtlantic cruise on DCL. :yay:

:cutie:

I didn't want the 40th birthday hoopla at all so I took my 6 year old niece and we went to Disney for my 40th. Spent the day in the Magic Kingdom. It was awesome. :cloud9: Enjoyed it so much, I did my 41st and 42nd at WDW too. :goodvibes

Flew out to Vegas the day before my birthday and celebrated my 21st there. The following year I was in Disney for the CP, so technically not on vacation but it still wasn't boring Ohio. Oh, and my 18th was spent in Michigan at a casino/resort.

I spent my 21st birthday in Vegas too!!

I also spent my 16th in NYC and Last year at Disney!!

Disneyland, last year, nice giftcard for braving the crowds on Columbus Day!

Every year since I can remember. My parents have a timeshare condo on the Outer Banks of NC and the summer week always falls during my birthday week in July. I LOVE IT :)

I just spent my 42nd embarking on our first cruise to celebrate our 15th anniversary 3 days earlier! How's that for a mouthful?!?
