...in DISNEY? :goodvibes

We just happened to go to MK on the same day as Enrique Iglesias! :hyper: He was being filmed for the Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade (2003).

His band was set up on the stage in front of Cinderella's Castle princess:.

We waited to hear him sing a bit of "I'm not in love".:smooth:

MK was a bit busy that day - wonder why!

Gloria Estefan was performing a concert at Epcot one year.
Chubby Checkers stayed at the same hotel as me once.

I saw Pop Daddy at WDW, he's famous on the DIS.;)

We were at WDW during the Super Soap Stars weekend, so I saw several ABC soap stars. The only ones I knew by site was Susan Lucci and I think Iheard Ingo Rademaker (sp?) on stage singing. I never watched too many ABC soaps, so I'm not sure who I saw in the parade.:o

I also saw Chubby Checker on stage at EPCOT. My dd loved the concert.:)

Years ago my sister and I saw Gary Coleman at the arcade in the Contemporary, and again getting on the monorail.

Also, in December I think we saw that woman from Trading Spaces, but not being a fan, I wouldnt have known it was her, if people werent screaming about her. One woman had her call her friend on her cell phone and leave a message for the friend.

Jim Henson said hi to me with his Kermit voice and Kermit on his hand. I freaked out!

Also Eisner and George Lucas. It was the day Star Tours opened.

Never and I look really hard too!

Editted to add that while @ HRH Leeann Womack held the door for my DH when he was coming through with hands full. Imagine that!

Sabrina , the Teenage Witch was doing a promo the week before Christmas one year....right in front of Liberty Tree tavern.

Well, I'm pretty sure I spoke to Jamie Gertz last April in TL's wave pool. I said "has anyone ever told you you look like her" and her reply was "hmm, (nodding her head)". The voice and face definitely convinced me it was her.

Never-- and I look everytime. I'm holding out that since in so many trips I've never seen one- maybe I'll see a really famous person!!

Michael Jackson was coming into Epcot with his kids when we were back in May. It took a few minutes before realized it was really him. (good thing we didn't let our kids too close ;) )

CamColt-

Was that Paige Davis you saw?

As for me, I remember seeing Joely Fisher when I was at the parks in 1996. She was playing Ellen's sidekick "Paige" at the time. Oh, she was so cute!:)

When we were visiting WDW in the mid 70's I was in line to eat lunch at the top of the Contemporary Hotel and John Lennon & Yoko Ono were standing 10 feet away.

This past December we3 were at the Magic Kingdom and we walked passed Edward Walker (Trading Spaces). I didn't believe my wife, but she was right and I was wrong ---- See, I can admit I was wrong!

Besides celebrities (Regis, Kelly, Clay Aiken, etc.) doing their thing for the Christmas parade this past December, I've only ever seen Doug Flutie and family on the Jungle Cruise. Since I'm not a sports fan, I wasn't that excited. I wouldn't have recognized him if my mom hadn't. I'm sure he's a great guy, but I only remember him because when I was a kid they did a skit on SNL about him.

Edited to add: ACK..I guess I did not read the original post very well..you want to know IN DISNEY.. well Im a dufus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My parents were TV and movie make-up artists and my dad worked the Academy Awards every year (though I never got to go with him  )

He did take me often when I was little to movie sets where he wasn't going to be there all day and he also arranged for me to meet my favorite stars when I was a teen.

Biggies for me were Charlies Angels, Burt Reynolds, Shaun Cassidy, etc.

I worked at the job for several years but the hours were horrible (sometimes 4AM to 10PM).

I've been fortunate to meet some of the biggest stars and found so many of them to be such nice people. Course I did meet many who wouldn't give me more than a passing glance.

My dads regular "day" job was CBS news and some of the most stuck up pain in the *** people were those egotistical news anchors!!

I do remember seeing a PI bartender who was a dead ringer for James Marsters(Spike) and it was right down to the hair

Yes, I think thats the name, did I get the right show(they all run together to me)?

I've never met anyone famous at WDW. Never even seen anyone famous there. WAIT...I take that back. I've seen Dan Murphy there many times ;)

I met Paul Sorvino at the El Tovar Hotel at the Grand Canyon when I was there in February, though :)

I literally bumped into Pauly Shore at the Studios many years ago. He was a jerk! For the most part, I am too into me to worry about who I might see. Celebrity is something I don't buy into. I can't even think of one I'd like to meet. I tend to fall for a character, not the actor. OK. Is it lunch yet?

If I remember correctly, my bf has met both Eisner and George Lucas while working at the parks.

When I went to Disney 2 years ago with my softball team we saw Al Sharpton at the Orlando airport, but I've never seen anyone at Disney.
