Have you ever requested a specific sever at WDW restaurants?

3 Years ago when my family & I went to Boma we had a great server who's name was Michael. Later that trip we went back to Boma for our 2nd ADR & Michael said he was working that night. When we checked in at Boma we asked if we could sit in his section, the hostest told us she would do the best they could to try however when we got seated we were told nothing for 3 people was open in his section. We were then told if wanted to we could wait for a table to open up, but we had waited quite a while & did not want wait anymore. Later on during the evening the hostest obviously said to him a family had requested to sit in his section & she obviously said it was my family, so he came over to say hello & he said he did remember us. Anyway I was wondering have you ever requested to be seated with a specific sever & was your request granted?

Absolutely! We always ask for Annie at Bomas.

Yes, for years we have requested Bradley at the Flying Fish. When making an ADR they sometimes give me a hard time but I tell them to put it on the system and then we mention it again when we arrive at the restaurant.

We ask for certain servers at several WDW rstaurants. It does of course sometimes depend on how many tables that server has--but most times we're accomodated and have a great meal.

Yes, although we've never put it in our reservation. And of course, as noted above we understand if the wish can't be granted for some reason.

We always ask for Zack at Yachtsman Steakhouse!

We have always asked for Jim "People are finished, Potatoes are done. Always remember that!" at Sci-Fi. He never has seemed to be on on our last few trips. We nearly always have a good time with our servers.

We always ask for Oscar at the Yachtsman and Pok at Artist Point.

We always request (at the podium) Gary from Hawaii at the Ca Grill. Usually we are able to sit in his section. He has been there for years!
