Have you ever reconected with a old friend?

Have you ever reconnected with an old friend on Facebook and been well a little sad at how there life has turned out? Here is the story after High School my friends got scattered to the corner of the country. My parents moved to a different state. Sorry to say I am of the age of before cell phone, and the internet when you had to pay extra for long distance phone calls and yes I was a college student so I had NO MONEY. So I was on facebook the other day and ran across and old friend. Now we are back to being at least facebook friends. I know life doesn't always turn out how you plan. Trust me I know!!! I'm just sad because my beautiful, talented friend seems to have a verbally abusive ex-husband that wonders into her life occasionally. This bothers me beyond belief.

I know there is nothing I can do about it we are states away. I just needed to tell someone so thanks for listening.

With life the way it is today, lots of people move away with jobs, families, etc. It is a much more transient world. It's hard enough to keep in touch with close family and friends let alone the many others we would like to be in touch with occasionally. It is amazing how many people are reconnecting now with Facebook, and emails, etc.
I've moved 7 times since I've been married and it is hard to keep in touch with everyone. Sometimes reconnections come out of the blue. Sometimes the news is happy and sometimes disheartening.

It might be nice to send your friend a card and say exactly what your thoughts about her are (she is beautiful and talented).
