Have you ever "re-done" a scrapbook page?

I literally spent most of the day yesterday finally organizing my photos into a system that will work for me (might not for others, but hey...to each his own lol)

While doing that, I went through my completed scrapbooks and found some pages that I just DO NOT LIKE AT ALL!!! And while orgainzing my photos, I found other photos that would go on those pages that I didn't like but probably couldn't find at the time.

So, now I have it in my head that I should just redo the page, especially some of the older Disney ones that I could use the Cricut on.

So please tell me that you've done the same so I don't feel crazy doing this?

I will admit that I have. My son is 15 and the theme for his party was Thomas the Train. Fast forward several years and my sister won a scrapbooking basket in a school fundraiser (she doesn't scrapbook) and there was a Thomas pack of papers and so on. Yep, I had to do the pages over!

I don't "do over" as in --throw out the old pages. But I DO make new pages on the same topic! I probably have 6 sets of pages on redoing the kitchen, for example.

Nope ... I never redo. What's done is done. I can't tell you how long I had scrapping supplies on-hand before I ever started scrapping ... I'm a bit OCD and just couldn't bring myself to cut/glue pictures and embellishments to a page. So ... once I got started what's done is done. I find it fun to look back and see how my scrapping has changed (and hopefully progressed) since I started.

I agree with PP. The temptation is there, but I won't re-do. It's better to look and see how things have changed over the years. My first pages were done about 10 yrs ago - and look very different than a page I'll do today.

I actually ripped apart a good majority of my New York Trip pages. The trip was with a now Ex who is a really bad person and I wanted no memory of him so i made it a mini album shaped like an apple (big apple)

I have redone scrapbook pages in the past. They just keep coming out with better papers and embellishments that would make your pages stand out more. However, you don't get as many new pages created.

I don't redo pages - but I would do like Disney Rider if I had been scrapping long enough to have pages with a bad ex (I get my revenge by leaving my ex in the old "bad" photo albums. Mwahahahaha) When I get to do some from my teen years (before I met DH) I'll just leave the ones of bad ex in the album, or cut him off. Not-bad-ex might warrant one or two pics (if I'm looking particularly lovely) for context.

I've torn apart many pages. All I see when I open to that page how much I don't like the page. The pictures start to lose their meaning.

I've done it. I made an album of my house "before and after" at SDV in 2009 but when I got home I saw a new technique in a scrap magazine and really wanted to try the idea, so I re-did the entire book - and I love it so much more!

I've been tempted to re-do other pages. There are pages I made 10 years or so ago that I'm not crazy about just because I think I'm a better scrapper now, but that's how I scrapped back then, and well, you can see how my style has evloved. I like being able to see how my style has changed, and will likely continue to change.

I have re-done many pages. I'm trying not to do it anymore, but it's hard to make my perfectionist self not go back and fix pages that don't look up to par with what I'm doing now.

I've been tempted to redo a page but haven't done so yet.

I have only redone one or two LO's. However I have a friend that has redone a lot of hers.
