For most of these, you have to send them the url/phone number of the place you foudn the lower price, and then they check it independently. In other words, they'll only match a "public" quote.

Many hotels themselves will guarantee to price match an lower internet prices. I'd check that out too- because a lot of them will match the price and then beat it by 10%.

I called the hotel today to see what their rate was and they told me to check Travelocity to get the lowest rate. So, I doubt that they will match their price if I call them on it. Besides, it is just about the same if not a little higher.

try them first.

then go visit your hotel's website. sometimes they actually have the less on their website (internal specials or something like this)
