Have you ever not used all your days on your ticket?

I'm just wondering if anyone chose to add extra days just in case but ended up not using them up? After 4-days you can add more days for only a few bucks, so I figured why not just in case we need them. But now with 4 pluses trying to fit them in , we might not end up using all 6 days. Our tickets expire so no saving it for next time. Just wondering :)

Want to add non-expiration before you leave the last park on the way home (or sooner)? You do have to pay the posted non-expiration cost based on the original num er of dayson the pass, and do it before the ticketexpires.

You can also add more days up to 10 including the days used up, for future use.

No we don't want to.

Yes-last year, I had the Park Hopper, got very sick and didn't use them. Luckily they were automatically non expiring then. So I have at least 1 park and 1 plus option on my ticket from last year, which I will apply to this year's trip.

At DL a few years ago, we had the buy 3-days-and-get-2-more-days-free tickets. After 4 days at DL, we were done. We ended up giving our tickets (with 1 day left on each ticket) to our server at dinner that evening (he had been our server for three days straight so we'd gotten a few good conversations going). We let him know how many days they had and how long he had before he expired. He appreciated it and said he would take his kids that weekend.

I'm not sure if this will work with the new WDW tix, though. If the tix are tied to biometrics, it won't work.

I do.

lots of times - I brought a ticket before I needed one.

So I have passes for family to use when they visit with me.

I got my brother recently the magic pass for 7 days with the no expiry.

sometimes ticketmania has a sale - and they can be a better buy than the 10 days one (the no expiry is alot more for the 10 days ones).

We went last week and had 2 days left on all our tickets. The night we arrived we decided to just stay at the hotel instead of going to a park, and we went to Kennedy Space Center the other day. I looked into the no expiry option on our last day, but it would have been $55 per ticket, so I decided to let them expire. The 2 days only cost us like $3 per ticket, so the cost to let them go was minimal. It was worth it to have the option of going a couple extra days.

Please understand that I'm not making fun of the OP, but I just had to comment on this. In the midst of the above post is the following sentence, (where I have added emphasis to one word.)

We let him know how many days they had and how long he had before he expired.
Don't know if this struck anybody else funny, but I got a good laugh out of it. :rotfl2:
BTW, I think this was a very kind offer - and I have done similar things. However, you're right. It wouldn't work now with the new biometric scans.
