Have you ever hid something.....

....and found out that you hid it from yourself? Uh!

Today is my DH's and my 16th wedding anniversary and I bought him a small item that he really wanted.

Well, I hid it from him and now I can't locate it to give it to him......

I've been looking for an hour............. I have no idea where I put it.....

He'll be home very soon and I don't have anything else to give him, other than my love!

Yes, I bought my daughter one of those watches with the different ribbon bands in June.

Her birthday was in September. I still haven't found the darn thing!

as kids we always ended up with a christmas gift round easter. mom would find them when she was looking for the easter baskets. cool if it was a toy-not so cool if it was underwear

I once hid $500.00! I never found it,I remember the day I moved out of that apt. I search every where for it!

Yes, my social security card. I didn't really hide it from myself but I do remember putting it up in a place that was safe and where I would know where it was. Guess I ended up forgetting where that place was. Even though you are not supposed to, I'm going back to carrying it in my purse. That way I'll always know where to find it.

On the other hand I do love it when I have hidden money from myself then find it later. That is always a wonderful find.

I do that all the time!
I'm afraid to go christmas shopping any earlier than 2 weeks or I'll lose them.
We cleaned our closets a few months and I couldn't believe all the stuff I found. Unfortunely my girls are now too old for all of it. So they went to Salvation Army.

ditto! my dh is ALWAYS looking for that "safe place" ... I am forever putting something in a "Safe place" so I won't lose it!
