When I google myself (just my name) "I" get 4,600,000 million hits.

I don't have a very common name, but there's a very well-connected & well-known female Colorado Rep. who is very influential in U.S. government, so references to her are probably the majority of those hits. Here's the 'highlights' listing the following hits in the first ten pages (the first two people listed take most of the first five pages between them)
The very, very well-known female House of Representatives from Colorado (her first name is a variation of my first name),
A male Civil War historian/author/painter in Virginia,
A male theater actor in the Seattle area,
A male German actor who's been in a couple of movies,
A male realtor in California and another male realtor in Chicago,
A male doctor at the University of Wisconsin,
A male prisoner incarcerated in St. Louis who's trying to petition a court in Michigan,
A male Gastroenterology doctor in Kansas,
A male student at DePaul University and another male student at the University of Hannover (in Germany),
A male lawyer in Minneapolis,
A Wisconsin Junior State Fair Holstein cattle winner
I went through 20 pages (200 listings) and didn't have a hit on the 'real' me yet. Even if I search my name plus the city where I work (150,000 hits), most of the hits are local newspaper articles written about that politician.
Living in the shadow of somebody famous sucks, for PERSONAL name recognition.
