Have you ever done anything this stupid?

I just came back from picking up a few things at the grocery store. I went to see if any pop was on sale (yes, pop, not soda ) and all the 2-liters were $1.59, so I passed and decided just to drink water. Get through the store, get to the check out and bought myself a 20 oz. bottle of Diet Dr. Pepper.

Got in the car and realized,

Hey! That 20 oz bottle cost me $1.20!!!

DOH!

I've done that kind of thing once or twice. I'll never forget this one time I went to Wendy's. I was going to order their Oriental Chicken salad, but then I decided it had too many calories. So I ordered a cheeseburger combo instead! Go me...

My friend and I went through a drive-thru. She was driving, so she ordered. They told her to go to the 1st window. We drive up to the 1st window. Pay. Drive off. We're halfway down the highway before we figured out what we did.

Now I, on the other hand, have NEVER done anything like that! Oh yeah, sure - and my DH didn't pick the I Love Lucy theme song as the song we walked in to at our wedding reception!

I think a lot of people fall for that though - the 20 oz bottles vs. the 2 liters. But could you imagine trying to drink out of a 2 liter bottle while driving away from the grocery store?!

I am always afraid I'll do that!!!! I'm so bad about that...I'll pay for something, and go to walk off forgetting the items I purchased. I call them blonde moments!!! I've never actually done it yet though. Last week I was at KFC and I had ordered a combo and 3 choc. chip cookies. they always put the cookies in a separate brown bag. I see the container and the bag so I leave... get to work and do you know what was in the brown bag? Potato wedges!!! UHHHH I want my chocolate chip cookies!!! That drives me nuts!!! Wendy's always forgets my cheese sauce for my fries!! I hate not getting what I pay for!

Too funny. One morning I was asked to go down to the store to get butter. I was so tired that when I was changing I didn't know what I put on. boy did I look silly wearing PJ's to the store

that's the worst part -- I didn't plan on drinking the bottle in the car, but I bought it to drink with my lunch!

This happend last year when I took my DD to school. I drove through the car line where you drop the kids off. You have to be in a certain spot to drop off and the safety patrol will open your car door and your child gets out of the car and into the school. Well, I stopped my car at one spot, but it was too early for her to get out. I was supposed to go to the front of the line, but instead I just drove off. Ever since then, she's always saying Mom, don't forget to drop me off today. I guess I'll never live this one down.

One morning, I was rushing my dd5 out the door for school. I thought everything was fine until we got outside. That's when my dd looks at her feet, then at me and says, "Ummm, mommy, I don't have any shoes on."

I've also forgotten to take my purchases with me after paying for them on a few occasions.

I have done the exact same thing!

I've also pulled up to a drive-thru fast food menu board and started laughing so hard that I could barely speak and then was so embarrassed that I drove off without stopping to pay for or pick up the food.
