Elvis. I still miss him so much.

no, can't actually remember crying. I have been very saddened by the news that someone I liked or admired had passed.

I don't remember crying but I was very sad when John Lennon, Michael Hutchence and Steve Irwin died. And Mr Rogers. I felt very teary-eyed when Heath Ledger died - I was a big fan.

Yes, Heath Ledger, Princess Di, JFK Jr, River Phoenix - others I'm sure.

I cried when I heard the news that Princess Diana died.

I remember crying while watching the funeral also. Very solemn and very, very sad to watch her sons try to remain composed. :sad1:

I cried when Heath Ledger died. every time that I would think about it or would hear about it I would tear up. It was like one of my middle-school/high school friends had passed away. I grew up watching him. We were about the same age and when he died I felt my own mortality more than ever....:sad1: I still feel sad over his death. It was such a waste.

I actually cried when the golfer Payne Stewart died. I've always loved watching golf and the way he died was just so tragic (plane on autopilot, windows blown out, everyone assumed dead, escorted by military jets until it crashed).

Not too long later, JFK Jr died and although I thought it was sad, it didn't make me cry.

I can't specifically remember if I cried with Princess Diana, but I'm sure I must have since I was very pregnant at the time (due Aug 20th, son born Sept 5th...I think she died Aug 31st and I know the funeral was the day my son was born).

JFK (Sr.) and Princess Diana..

I can't remember crying for anyone, but that doesn't mean I didn't, except for Paul Newman (recently). I didn't expect to cry for him but I loved his work. I felt like I knew him (and my dad kind of looks like him when I was growing up)>

I got very upset over Heath Ledger, Princess Di, Steve Irwin, Socks the cat, Bernie Mac, and now Natasha Richardson.

John Ritter. Natasha Richardson is getting me. But my mom had an accident one year ago tomorrow and ended up going into a coma until we pulled life support. I think that's why today's news is really really getting to me.

I have never cried upon hearing of a celebrity's passing, although I did shed several tears watching Diana's boys walk that procession. Usually I just feel sad, like I do tonight over NR. It's so awful for her family!

Not immediately afterward but in the days, weeks and months afterwards I have.

John Ritter deeply saddened me. I remember crying when they showed a montage on one of the entertainment shows.

Heath Ledger was the worst for me. Sometimes you just feel like you know people for whatever reason, crazy as it sounds. I guess it's just a reminder of how much art can touch you. I still have trouble thinking about his death. It was just too tragic.

I so forgot about Bernie Mac. LOVED HIM, he'll be sorely missed.

In 9th grade, when I found out that Andy Gibb had died, I cried quite a bit. I wasn't all into him at that time, but I had loooooooved him when I was younger, so it almost felt like a little piece of my childhood died.

I also cried when longtime Cardinals broadcaster Jack Buck died during the summer of 2002. He was an enormous piece of my childhood; his voice was the soundtrack of my summers, especially days spent at my grandparents' house. Losing Jack felt a little bit like losing my grandfather all over again, since my grandfather was such a huge Cards fan. I listened to Jack's memorial service online while at work and cried at my desk. I wasn't the only one.

Yes, he died too. I think he may have drowned. I'm not sure.

Christa McAuliffe and Princess Di.
