Have you ever butt dialed or drunk dialed?

I'm not aware that I butt dialed anyone, and certainly can't remember drunk dialing anyone, but would love to hear some stories ....

My in laws call me all the time. They do not lock their phone before putting it in their pockets or purse. Usually it happens several times in a row when it happens.

Yes! I was at the airport at 4 a.m. once and butt dialed a work colleague. He mentioned it too! Ugh.....

In the same vein as butt dialing, I just got two panic alerts from my daughters Hyundai. Apparently if you hold down the bottom button on the key fob and are close enough to your car with Bluelink, it flashes the lights, honks the horn, and sends a text message. Had to call her just to make sure she was ok and she was confused why I thought she might be in trouble.

Butt dial I am sure more than once. But once I did my best friend and she texted back right as my boss did. So I went to send a reply to her it went to my boss instead. OOPS!

Drunk Dial/Text. Once and I am not sure who it went to. Because the day it only had a number not the person I was trying to text.

I've never drunk dialed anyone - my son has sent drunk texts to me though.

I hardly ever butt dial anyone because I don't put my phone in my pockets normally but friday I was working in the warehouse and needed to hear if anyone was at the front door since I had it locked (ring doorbell) so I put my phone in my back pocket and butt dialed my husband. Oops. LOL

I butt dial all the time. I have a lock screen and always hit it but the phone I have is weird. It called my husband while I was in the shower and nowhere near it. Recently it sent my 82 year old aunt a racy GIF while locked and in my jacket pocket. I had to apologize when I realized that happened. My kids are used to it, they just send me a text telling me to lock the phone AGAIN!!!.

Our elderly cat once butt dialed me. We were sitting on the couch and my phone rang. I t was my wife and she was next to me. The cat was on the table standing on the phone...she had somehow selected my number and called. Truly bizarre.

This isn't a butt dial story but text story:

We were meeting my son and DIL at a pub last weekend. I was already there (hooked to the casino ) I texted my DH who was home waiting for them to come into town. He texts back saying they're here and we're on our way. I text him back to see what DIL would like to drink as I was going to order the drinks and have them ready. Well my DIL decided to have an Angry Orchard with a shot of Fireball in it which I guess is called Angry Balls.

Well......DH thought he texted me but the text somehow went to my brother. My brother wondered what the heck when he got a text saying "Angry Balls" from his brother in law!

My husband pocket dials me all the time. Apparently on his phone when you have a text message conversation up there is a button next to the person’s name that will call them. If he forgets to exit out of the text message app before putting the phone in his pocket it ends up pushing that button. Since I’m the person he texts the most,I’m usually the person who gets the pocket dials.

Half our company phones are Android. Half are iPhones. This is a constant problem with the iPhones, can't recall a single butt dial with the Androids.

@Kitty 34, I had to drag this post up again. First, to say I'm still laughing at your story! Second, to thank you for the drink idea. I already had Fireball on my grocery list, and I added Angry Orchard because I simply had to try this. It is delicious!

Even with as little as I post, you may know me well enough to know that I will never, ever, ever order a drink called Angry Balls. But I'll definitely keep it in mind for drinking at home.
