Have you ever brought a Brita Water Pitcher for room?

We are flying for the first time to WDW and we like to have water handy for the kids in the room. By avoiding having to order water bottles, has anyone brought their own Brita filter pitcher for the room? We would be able to bring it in our carry on, so I am not worried about it breaking. I figure we can bring our own water bottles too and fill them for the stroller when we head to the parks. TIA!

We like the bottles that have the filter in them. They work great and everybody has their own.

no but that ain't a bad idea since FL tap water bites the big one as far as taste. Brita also makes a personal size bottle with built in filter too( for the parks)

Thanks! I already have the pitcher, so just trying to making this as cheap as possible too. :)

We used it for last trip didn't do much for the sulfer but better than nothing

We have gone with our pitcher and it was nice. I did end up putting a new filter in before we took it last time and it worked very well.

We pack two plain pitchers in our luggage (just plain 2qt one) and we fill them with ice and let it melt. The ice from the machines are already filtered and it tastes like bottled water. We drink a bunch of water and with this method we have never had a problem running out of cold water. We fill them before we go to bed and before we head out to the parks.

Fantastic Idea! Thanks!

HI

We did it too a few years ago. It worked awesome. We were able to put it in the fridge at CSR and it was cold. We bought a couple of water bottles and just refilled them.:)

We bring the Brita water bottles. THey work great and then you can bring them into the parks and get free ice water at the food carts.
