Have you ever booked through CAA?

Hi everyone,

I am just pricing things out right now for a very quick visit to that "other" theme park. Three nights, four days.
I still need to compare but if we go it would be either January or February, although not over their busy time in February. Would we still get the line by pass if we stayed onsite at Universal but did not book through them?

I think like all of us I am just looking for the best rate so any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

I booked my February Disney trip through CAA. When it came time to book my ADRs and FP, I used My Disney Experience, which is the same as those booked through Disney.

I had to pay for the trip through CAA and not directly to Disney and my room request had to go through my CAA TA, as well. She has been very helpful and I feel confident that if I encounter any problems while at WDW, I will be able to call her to straighten things out. :)

Following. Were you able to get a discount on park tickets? As there is supposed to be a discount offered for CAA members, but I couldn't find out how much it was?

I wouldn't bother. You can book the hotel directly, as long as you're not staying at Cabana Bay you get a front of the line pass. If you sign up for their email list, they will sent you discounts...

Tickets can be bought online as well, the best deal is most often through undercovertourist dot com, right now you buy a 2 day park to park ticket and get the third day free! (We've done this more than a few times ;)

It seemed to me that the price from CAA was the same as booking through Disney online.

We booked our March 2015 trip to RPR club level for a week last Dec. through CAA. They did a great job but a month later when I looked on the West Jet site- I saw the same package with flights 1000.00 cheaper. I was kicking myself. We had CAA book hotel, tickets , flights and transfers. I should have done a better job of researching this but my dh wanted to surprise me and took me to CAA. We got caught up in the excitement.

CAA and AAA don't have the same relationship with Disney as they used to and so there is no longer an extra discount or special package when booking through them. However I have used CAA for years and have a good relationship with my TA and that's why I keep booking with them.

Did you attempt to rebook this? Packages booked with Disney are refundable up to about 45 days before your arrival.

Thanks so much everyone! Great advice and insight. I have a lot more investigation to do. Thanks for the help everyone!
