Have you ever been the week after Thanksgiving?

Has anyone gone the week after Thanksgiving? We always used to go for the Holiday, but this year we want to beat the crowds and booked the 25th-through the 30th of Nov. The castmember at the GC said there are a lot of conventions and the rooms are almost sold out, so I was glad to snag two. She also said when there are a lot of conventions that the parks are even that much slower. Let me know if you have ever experienced this week? Thanks

We're going this year the 28th-30th. Obviously great minds think alike! Let's just hope that there aren't too many other great minds out there!

I went last year on the Wednesday and Thursday after Thanksgiving (Nov. 29 & 30).

Crowds were very light. I was able to walk on HM, Buzz and Mr. Toad multiple times. Wait times elsewhere (POTC, IASW, BTMR) were maybe 5 minutes. Even Indy and Space Mountain only had posted wait times of about 15 minutes (though I still FastPass'd them). I think I waited about that long for Peter Pan, mid-day! DCA was so quiet, there were only 8 of us riding in the elevator at Tower of Terror.

I fully intend to go back again at the same time this year, provided the weather is nice. Based upon my experience, it's the perfect time to experience DLR decked out for the Holidays.

But let's keep this our little secret, OK?

I went last year from Tuesday thru Saturday. Tuesday,Wednesday, and Thursday were great. Basically just walked on any ride there. Friday was busier; had some wait time but still was enjoyable. However, Saturday was the Candlelight Processional. The park was packed. We left at about 1 pm and I was glad. It was hard going from all walk ons to having to wait 45 min for POTC.
It is a great time to go; wish I could go this year
