Have You Ever Been On TV??

Not myself but my DS has been on Bear in the Big Blue House in the bit where they interview the kiddies. It was all very exciting when Disney went to the school and all the children were given Playhouse Disney tshirts. I've managed to catch both bits he did when my younger DS started watching it and more recently my brother-in law phoned me in disbelief , he had been watching with my little niece when it came on, he didn't know Jamie'd done it as it was several years ago, they're obviously regularly repeated.
I'd love to get a copy of it for him though :happytv:

non disney - I was on MTV's The real World NYC in 1992

disney - in 1992 we got to see Celine Dion & Kriss Kross perform @ Epcot, they were taping for the July 4th special, you could see us a few times when they panned the audience :)

I was on t.v. just the once. It was when BBC came to do "Songs of Praise" from our Church. They had sorted us out into Sopranos, altos, etc. all over the Church and me and my Mum were at the front.

The camera went on us quite a few times.

That's my only claim to fame !!

Back in the days of black and white television  , I was in the audience of 'Crackerjack' and was just about visible when the camera did a shot of the kids in the audience screaming "Crackerjack!"

More recently, in the days of full colour radio ;), I was in a live interview on Radio Cork when I was part of the group of local bods setting up a twinning charter between our village and one not far from Cork. Not tv, but I felt very pleased with myself :teeth:

I was in one of those Crackerjack audiences a good many years ago as well! :lmao:

My main claim to TV fame was asking a question on Question Time back in the days of Robin Day. That was great fun :thumbsup2

I have been on Crimewatch a few times, although they didnt get my face right in the photofit., .

OK joking before you call them.

Had Eastenders film at my work premises all morning for 30 seconds on TV.

When DH and I went to see Bon Jovi in concert in Glasgow they came on stage before the official start to record for TOTP. They sang the song through 4 times. You caught a little glimpse of me in the front row :cool2:

I've been on TV a few times. The orchestra I played in did a TV competition which we won so I was on that for 4 shows, then as we won the competition we had to do a Yorkshire TV christmas special. Oh and I was seen in the crowd during an England football match once!! They used to use our uni for a location for A Touch of Frost so I was seen in the background on that a few times as well.

My DH has been on Blue Peter (he still has his badge!!) and Songs of Praise!

I was in a Wet and Wild advert, when I was about 15 my DSis and I got asked to be in it we had to run out of the wave pool, never got to see it though didn't get anything for it either not even a free T-shirt! Oh and we were in the audience at Seaworld watching Shamu and saw that before we left in an advert!

Sitting on the river bank at the world crabbing competition in Walberswick Suffolk!

DH was on BBC a few years ago teaching kids golf at the Open at St Georges.

Nearly 14 years ago I was on..... wait for itt...

PLAYDAYS!

It was one of those holidays specials in butlins skeggy.. So it's still repeated.. =| =|

My mum is in one of the Asda adverts on TV at the moment serving somebody at the deli counter. Blink and you'd miss her but it's as close as I can get to a claim to fame :rotfl:

i was asked what i thought about the election results by a tv reporter when we were at picadilly circus about 10 years ago, unfortunately it was for canadian tv so i never got to see it! Gill

Hi

I havent been on TV. Bruce and I are in the background of a film. Green Street Hooligans. We were watching Gillingham Football Club play against West Ham. In the film they have West Ham playing a football match, but didnt say it was actually Gillingham FC and we are behind the goal. On one of the goals you can see us. I am wearing a blue fleece and Bruce is wearing his grey coat. If you didnt really know what we looked like it would be hard for anyone to tell who we were and where we were. Thats Bruces claim to fame :rotfl:

Many years ago the BBC had a magazine programme called Nationwide. My school did many plays and musicals one was 'Jack the Ripper' this was featured on Nationwide and as I had a prominent part in the play I was in the TV item with Glyn Worsnip as the reporter.

I was at a rugby match at Leicester once and was on the TV covereage - I think the game was an England under 21 game against Italy :)

Back in around 1998 or so, when Star Wars Episode 1 was released , we were in Orlando, and had tickets to the opening show at the AMC24. There were lots of idiots dressed up in costumes etc, but on our way out there was a local TV company (WESH I think) who were stopping people asking them what they thought of the (rubbish) movie. We never got stopped, but we walked right behind the camera, and saw ourselves later on that night on the news.

I featured on PPV when Insurrexion WWE came to London as DS and I had front row seats! I'm on the DVD too! I had the pleasure(?) of The Rock standing on my foot whilst Triple H dripped sweat on my hand!!!

Ahhh, happy days... :cloud9:
