Have You Ever Been On TV??

I was in a film made for TV called 'The Man'. My appearance was definitely a blink and you'd miss it shot :rotfl: DH was more excited about the fact that his car made it into the film - and got more air time than me :lmao:

I've been on Blue Peter and a quiz show called "Todays the Day" when I entered with my Dad.

Shellbell,

How do you get away with living in Warrington and supporting Wigan? Didn't think that was allowed. lol

Back in the days of black and white television  , I was in the audience of 'Crackerjack' and was just about visible when the camera did a shot of the kids in the audience screaming "Crackerjack!"

More recently, in the days of full colour radio ;), I was in a live interview on Radio Cork when I was part of the group of local bods setting up a twinning charter between our village and one not far from Cork. Not tv, but I felt very pleased with myself :teeth:

Was featured on a game show called "Gamerweb" a few years back, actually interviewing people/news etc was quite fun, but I beleive thats the only time.

I was filmed in Majorca when I was working as a childrens rep, for a programme with "Timmy Mallettt", I believe it was called "Wackaday" or something similar.

I've also been interviewed for HTV Wales. I am a nurse and I married one of my patients!!

when I was little I was in a program called How we used to live we had to wear period costumes and have dirty faces :sunny:

FA Cup final ~ Coventry v Spurs ~ May 1987

All my friends told me that they saw me under a huge Coventry City banner when we beat Spurs and won the FA Cup. Best laugh was, that we taped ITV and I was shown on BBC ~ so I never saw it :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Apparently I was shouting (along with the other CCFC fans) ~ 'Are you watching Jimmy Greaves ??'

OMG Mandy - DH would be sooooo jealous. We are big CCFC fans in our house (presumably you weren't there supporting Spurs ;) ) By the way, Coventry City have never won the FA cup (an old Monty Python gag ;) )

We used to watch that at school :)

January this year - 2 DS's and me being filmed (didn't know who by) leaving Burton Albion football ground for a FA cup round match at Old Trafford against Man United. DH in the background shouting at us to turn round for him to photograph us. We ignored him and waved our scarves at the camera which was shown on BBC breakfast news the following morning according to one of my sons teachers. We didn't see it :confused3

I have been on three times in the past year. Giving weapons demonstrations and putting a smiley face on the Department of Homeland Security.

See? :sunny:

Not me, but DH has been on a few times as he works for a car seat manufacturer and they often get asked to do demos etc, I think he was on the local news today :lmao:

On the news when they did a competition they used a photo of football fans at a Sunderland match as a backdrop and guess who was on...ME!!! :thumbsup2

There was me, my dad, my uncle and my younger brother sitting in the crowd! Thankfully it is no longer used! :)

Also my cousin was seen on Sky Sports News protesting with Newcastle fans to sack Graeme Souness!! :rotfl:

My other cousin was interviewed on Soccer Night after the Blackburn V Sunderland match about whether Mick McCarthy should been sacked or not :happytv: It was funny to watch!

LOL :teeth: DH and his family are actually from Widnes. But him and his dad support Wigan so i just followed them  We get alot of stick for it though, as you well know RL is huge up here.

Oh yes! :teeth:

I was on the National Lottery In It To Win It with Julian Clarey last summer. Got through to the second round and got to have Julian suggest I was good with my mouth infront of millions :lmao:

Also got secretly filmed by Watchdog during some dodgy goings on at my old work. No one knew it was me because they blurred my face, although my mum recognised me :thumbsup2

When the X-Factor came to Chelsea FC I was working there, and there was a nice shot of me standing at the top of the stadium laughing at the hoards of auditionees.

I'm hoping to go on Mastermind next year, so you'll all need to look out for me! :)

I've been interviewed by news team but nothing as adventureous as others :thumbsup2
