So over the weekend I am cruising the aisles of Home Depot.

I am talking to one of the orange -aprons when a person walks buy and stops and stares for a minute.

I finish talking and continue on. I then meet the staring person in the next aisle and she stops me to see if we went to HS together.

Well we didn't but she was sure she knew me.

Anyone ever mistake you for someone else?

yep. actually it happens to me a lot. there must be someone else out there that looks like me. :p

People all the time stop me and ask me if I was ever on a TV show called Cheers. I've never heard of the show, but the fellow must be awfully good looking.

Yep. I think I posted awhile back about it. I was standing in line at Walmart when the woman behind me says "HI!!!!! How have you been?". I didn't recognize her, but my kids are involved in so much that I figured she must be a fellow sports mom. She went on to say that we have to get together and rent a beach house again because we had such a great time the first time (?????). We chatted about the kids for a couple minutes then I left. I swear I never met that woman before, yet she thought we went on vacation together! I must have a twin out there somewhere!

Seriously, I get mistaken for other people all the time when I'm out. I look like a lot of people's sisters, cousins, old friends from high school etc.

No matter where I live, people are constantly telling me that they know someone who looks just like me. No one has ever been able to produce all these twins I was separated from at birth so I kind of take it with a grain of salt now! I must just have one of those faces that looks familiar.

For some reason, I get mistaken for Jack Osbourne when my hair gets longer & it is all "fluffed out" from not putting in hair gel... What do you think?

JoNo, I do see a slight resemblance!

I got mistaken for "Valerie" the other day, whomever Valerie is. Poor guy was so embarassed afterward tho. :p

I've been mistaken for someone else now and then, but my favorite is when they try to convince me that I really am the person they thought. "Are you SURE you aren't the girl who...." :teeth:

Yeah, quite often I remind somebody of somebody else. Hahahaha

One time I was visiting a friend in another state and we were out at the local towny bar and I had people thinking I was a person who lived there and had moved away. They thought I was this person so I had to play it up a little bit and I said I WAS this person. It was fun for awhile but I finally fessed up and told them that I wasn't who they thought I was. The guys sister was there and she even said it was an amazing resemblance. LMAO:teeth:

( and I thought they broke the mold after I was born. LMAO:crazy:)

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: You should just respond, "You know what? I didn't think I was that person, but now that you've remind me again..."

OUCH!!!

However, from that angle in that pic, you remind me of few women I've known.

Yes. I was mistaken for someone named Ann. Not just one person thought I was Ann, but many. I worked at the local Ameristop, both parents and kids would come in saying "Hi Ann". At the time I didn't live in the town I worked it. It did get to the point that I was tired of being called Ann but would just let people believe what they wanted and quit trying to tell them I wasn't Ann.

I have also been mistaken other times, at a baseball game or amusement park.

Then I could say, "Don't you owe me money?"

Welcome to my world. I look like everyone.

Sometimes I mistake myself for Jolie C though.:p
