I know someone has posted this in the past however I am curious once again. Have you ever won anything and if so what did you win? I have been entering in all these sweepstakes and contest and I never win I keep thinking surely one day someone will call or email me saying congrats .So let me know what yall have won so that I can stay positive. I hope you guys have better luck than I do. Looking forward to hearing about yalls winnings.

Talk about an easy contest. A local radio station (Country music) had a contest that when you heard a cow moo (I told you it was a Country music station !), if you were caller 7 you won $100. If you were caller 7 on Thursdays you won $1000. I was caller 7 on a Thursday last April and won $1000 !! Since it was "found" money, I bought myself a laptop.

I actually received a $10 g.c. to starbucks today from Dayrunner for the 3rd place prize. I was floored b/c I NEVER win anything and it'll be a nice bonus gift to give to DD's teacher.

Other than that, I think I won a giant stuffed bunny when I was 10

I've won a few things over the years, mostly business related though.
I won a trip in 2007 to Las Vegas from a supplier I do alot of business with, won a $25 gas card at a trade show recently, and a t-shirt at another trade show, LOL.
A very long time ago I won $100 in some radio call in contest.

I won $1,000 in a radio contest. You entered your phone# on their website, if they called and asked you, "What radio station do you listnen to?"

You have to answer exactly:
"I listen to 95.1 WAYV, now give me my money!"

And they called, so I won! Then they played it int the ads for a few weeks, which dd and her friends thought was hillarious b/c I sounded like a bumbling idiot I was so excited

Years ago I won 7th prize in a Pepsi Cola contest - a basketball - it was a mail in thing. Today, with online contests, I hate to even enter anymore because it generates soooo much junk mail. I hit delete more often than I open stuff - I'm sure that if I ever actually won, I'd never know it because I'd never read it! Do you how many times I've gotten emails with subject lines telling me that I've won something? What a joke.

I know a couple of people that won some major prizes. A woman I used to work with won a contest through ESPN back in the 1980's and received a trip for two to Hawaii to see the ProBowl game, along with a new Mazda RX-7.

Also, one of the nurses I currently work with is originally from New York. Her parents won several million dollars in the lottery when she was in high school.

Back in the early 90s I won a laptop - it was valued at something like $4000 - I only made about $15,000 because I was in school at the time and it really screwed up my taxes! It was great having a laptop though.

I enter a lot of online contests - won a 40" LCD TV a few years ago, $1000 Jos A Bank gift card, Nintendo DS Lite, Flip camcorder, Ipod nano, $500 Penney's gift card, $100 Lady Foot Locker, $50 BP gift card, lots of smaller $10 prizes, movie tickets, coupons. There are websites that list sweepstakes and people post what they win; it always helps me to see that people do win these contests.

Back when I first got engaged, I went to a tiny bridal show at my local mall. I wound up winning the "grand prize" honeymoon trip. Funny thing was it had to be used within a year of winning it, but we wouldn't have even been married at that point!

So we took the trip just for fun. It was to a totally dated resort in the Poconos - but we ended up having a blast! There was red shag carpeting on the walls and a round bed - it cracked me up!

I am so glad it wasn't our honeymoon, but it was a nice little free trip!

I also won a bassinet from a department store the week before my daughter was born! Good timing!

I enter everything I can. I have won numerous little prizes: quilts, 40.00 on a calander raffle 3 times, a kid size pedal car, soccer balls.....
But I have had 2 BIG wins.
On November 1998 Friday 13th I won a radio contest for $5000.00 which we used to travel to Romania when we adopted our DD (now14).
Just last year I won a diamond ring from Lifetime's The Starter Wife valued at 12,950.00. I debated on whether I wanted to claim that because of taxes but I really wanted the ring it has 5 big diamonds and 98 chips. It cost me at the end of the year but I love it.

Last year I won 5 books, and a photo album. One time I won 2 tickets to Tarzan on Broadway. I won a set of dishes once, The grand prize was a new dishwasher which I was trying to win.
