Hi Guys,

We are booked to go 12th dec for three nights:banana:
I am trying to get the kids as excited as I am.
I wonder if any member here has any photographs from their time that they wouldnt mind sharing with me. I have searched a bit and had a look through the photos thread but havent found any good amount of photos we have been through brochures but they arent the same and dont inspire the magic.

If no one has photos like this can anyone recommend a website where I can get them.

Thanks in advance
Poppy x

We had our honeymoon in DLRP in 2003 from December 7th-12th and we went their for December 24th-26th 2 years ago. There are some photos of the latter holiday on my DLRP photos site: http://www.rumgone.co.uk/dlrp

I went for christmas a couple of years ago... We took like 100 pics (with an old fashion cam) then we got home and handed them into a shop, the day they came return and we were suppose to pick them up, the shop burned down with all of our pic!!!! Yes we cried!!!! We had the best time in DLP and when we go back this dec, we will hopefully get some pics out of it as well....

Oh Stephanie :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: how terrible :sad1:

Poppy, have a look through the trip reports sticky, there must be lots of photos on people's trippies. :santa:

Hi there, how cold was it during your December trips? what clothes/ coat types did you wear? Did you need hats/gloves?

It was very cold both December trips - hats, gloves and even thermal undies were taken and worn!

Last December it was not so cold, just very very wet. So as well as thermals you might also need some wet weather gear.

ooooh you'll love it, its my FAVOURITE time of year in dlrp!
i do have some photos but im at work currently, so il try and remember to post them later when im home

Define very cold? I'm Canadian :)

Last year were were in Scotland and all the people from texas had gloves and hats and jackets... DD13 and I were in short sleeves - it was balmy to us!

I bought thermals for our December trip. It was very mild at first, too mild to wear them (in fact we walked around with our coats undone) and I thought we had wasted our money buying them, then the weather changed overnight to very cold and we were glad to wear them, then the next day it snowed and was even colder :cold: I remember the temperature was -8 C.

So best to be prepared for both cold, wet and mild weather! :goodvibes

I guess I'll try and be prepared for anything! It's going to be a challenge as we are coming from Egypt/Greece & Turkey to DLP.
